Lol @ 5th, says it all. Arteta got the job based on a co-sign from Pep. That’s the only reason anyone thinks he is a good coach. Evidence shows he is not a good coach let alone manager. Pep just wanted a Spaniard in his coaching team who knew the Prem (hoof ball) - Arteta did nothing substantial to influence City’s tactics or style of play. We’ve seen previous Pep teams. Arteta is a walking joke who is very inexperienced and has extremely poor man management skills. He will fill the team with U19s to have any clout in the dressing room without everyone seeing through his nonsense. When inevitably sacked, no club will go for him including Everton

this is reality howver, theser are the players that arteta have to work with... we were completely outplayed in the first half and i think alot of that has to be pinned on arteta, we barely had any space to work with we were very flat didnt play through the center at all.

Not an arsenal fan either and I do see your point but the manager is to blame here in my opinion... They need a new direction! New manager with new approaches and give the players more sense of what there roles are! There all over the place at times trying to play simple 1 2 football and getting it wrong! It's similar to united in a way! Arsenal is a world class club who deserves a world class manager! They deserve to be challenging for the title and be in the conversation not laughed at by rival clubs! New manager new approach that's what I think will send them in the right direction! Otherwise what keep conceding goals losing games and losing points!? Smart move would be to start looking for a replacement now

Looking back, the same players threw both Emery and Arteta under the bus. Credit to the board for sticking to their guns, backing Arteta to do a squad clear out.

Yes this was a rough time. But look at us now. We've been in the mud and now we are potentially running towards not just top four, but the title itself. Arteta has truly taken us through a rollercoaster of emotions. That is exactly what being an Arsenal fan is about.

Arsenal’s squad has more talent than west ham’s. Whats the difference? An experienced manager who inspires belief and a strong mentality on and off the pitch. An experienced, competent and respected manager gets better results from these players and thats a fact

Arteta is in the same category as Lampard and Ole. He's run out of ideas, doesn't have the experience to draw on and although we may get the odd win, the overall trend line is downwards. Up until two weeks ago there was a belief that the gap we had was only between the top three. With Utd, Villa and Spurs moving forwards under new managers our gap will now be away from seven including West Ham. If Leicester and Wolves get on a run of games we'll be looking at 10th with no European football to distract. Appalling.

@@rogerramjet5302 Only difference is Man Utd and Chelsea spent big and had the squads to achieve success, when that couldnt be achieved with ole and lampard they moved on to new managers. Arsenal doesnt yet have the squad, theyre still improving the squad, give arteta a chance with a complete somewhat high quality starting 11 and if he fails then look to change managers.

I won’t pretend to know Arsenal inside out but from a outside view Arsenal have the 7th best squad in the league and they’re currently in 7th. Every loss besides Brentford and Everton were expected. I don’t see the issue, look at ur players for once instead of expecting Arteta to get top 4 and win most games

Arteta killed the game. He ought to remove Xhaka not Tierney! Xhaka was the weak link in that midfield for the whole 90mins. He wasn't tracking back well nor covering for Tierney/Tavares like Partey did all day for Tomiyasu. Arteta is destroying Partey. He's overworking Partey and exposing him. Elneny and Xhaka shouldn't be playing ahead of Niles and Lokonga. Arteta is starting to fail tactically. Elneny and Xhaka lacks the intensity for that Arsenal midfield. They're not on Partey's wavelength. Arteta is starting to fail woefully.
