This is the best album of her career. She assembled some of the best songwriters in Nashville (Mindy Smith, Julie Miller, Brent Cobb, et al.). And, by the way, she somehow gets more beautiful with each passing year! She is more gorgeous at 48 years old than ever before.

I'm not a country music listener but this song is absolutely amazing and touching. Hits home for anyone that can relate to addiction of ANY kind. Its a soul touching and tear jerking song for sure. I will give it 10 stars! **********

TheDeadlyEntity I totally agree, I just said to my kid, that she's one of the only females to still sing traditional classic country music, like Lorette and Tammy did, which I absolutely love!!!! I don't know why she hasn't won tons of awards, she certainly deserves them!!!

This is the type of song that country purists are demanding for the genre to return to. It's not going to happen, but some country singers are still doing it. I hope they're listening to Lee Ann Womack.

+James Sullivan Are there even any country stations left? Oh, you mean the ones that CALL themselves country music stations. When a supposedly "country" music station will not play Alan Jackson's FANTASTIC song " So you don't have to love me anymore" I do not call that country. An amzing song like that and they wouldn't play it even after it was requested. Said that they could NOT pay it. If that ain't serious BS I don't know what is.

Great song but a somewhat strange video :-) Definitely one of the best albums of her career (if not her best). Up there with I Hope You Dance for me. Signing with Sugar Hill, forgetting about pandering to country radio and following her 'Americana' bent is the best decision she ever made.

Sure thing, Simon. Lee Ann is one of the few TRUE country artists left today. Many props for staying that way. Thank God there are a few left. I love this song but the video does confuse me. lol Still, it's hard to find a dud in any of her songs.

Looks like you've got it going on, Gerald. LeeAnn was just nominated for a Grammy for Country Album of the year for her album entitled "The Way I'm Livin.' I'm not fond of the video, but I love the melody and the rhythm. A couple of my real favorites of Lee Ann's are "You Were Just Here" and "My Give A Damn's Busted."

I do not consider myself a country fan. At all. I just looked this song up because I was scooting around the internet and wound up wondering whatever happened to that I Hope You Dance singer. The song is a huge yes. I love the instrumentation, her voice against it. If this is what country should be... sign me up. If I had one criticism, it would be that I wish the ending instrumental was longer and the instruments were allowed to breathe.

Lee Ann has had her day in the sun,her success and now she is making the true music she always has without worrying about whether so called COUNTRY MUSIC radio will play it or not, unlike so many other "country" artists singing BS about sangria and clubbing.
