@TrampolineLemons A lot of people don't realize that a good portion of this film footage, wasn't even truly Live at Madison Sq Garden. It was filmed at Shepperton Film Studios in 1974, which was this enormous hanger, to simulate the concert. There is some footage used in the film from the actual New York Concert as well. See this Link to further clarify the subject matter forums.ledzeppelin.com/topic/2986-led-zeppelin-shepperton-film-studios-aug-1974/

cesar varram Depends what you mean by "bad"'. (I'm assuming your'e a yank) As a Londoner, I can tell you that our winters are much less harsher than in NY - we hardly ever have snow that settles - and our summers rarely unbearably hot, we very rarely topple 30 degrees. But in our moderation, is also our downfall. London is damp. No getting away from it. We don't get heavy rain very often - the South East of England gets less annual rainfall than Texas - but we get a lot of grey sky, disappointing temperatures, and light rain, even in the summer months. But at least we don't get snowfalls covering cars in NY, or hurricanes in New Orleans or regarding Maine, extreme daily weather changes, or sunless Seattle, or scorching heat in LA. I've been to these places....but I don't think you've ever been to England mate.

Saw Zep in the early 70s at Sunderland Locarno (The Mecca) just before the release of Led Zep 4. On the back of the ticket you were advised that on producing the ticket at Bergs record shop in Sunderland you would receive 25 pence discount on the new album. The band played at Newcastle Mayfair on Thursday night and the Friday at Sunderland Locarno. They are without doubt the loudest and best live band I ever saw. To see the four of them in front of you was absolutely unbelievable and unforgettable.

I saw them on the same tour - 2/12/1971 - having managed to get in for free (so no 25p discount for me). They were pretty loud in places but it was the power, not just the volume, the power coming off the stage that was most impressive. I went on to see them four more times before 1979.
