Jimmy Page is THE only guitar player to truly make me go back in time to when I was in my early teens, roaming the streets at night, first girlfriend, naive… friends, friends that turned to enemies, only responsibility was school, being in a band, the lights at night, finding somewhere nice to sit and roll a cigarette, feeling like I had the world at my feet.

I remember the first time I heard this, listening to TSRTS on spotify, then Dazed and Confused came along, a song I love, and outta nowhere comes this haunting, dark, melodic, sad and misterious riff that simply caught me off guard and made me trip balls listening to this and gave me that feeling when you listen to a special song that moves you for the first time. Beautiful piece of music.

Instruments from 00:00-01:06 are from the 29th. Vocals are from the 27th over the music from the 29th. 01:06 onwards they keep the vocals from the 27th and use the music from the 27th as it was played that night. Beautiful edit but it's not how it was played that night. I actually like the San Francisco intro they played on the 27th. Don't know why they didnt keep it. I think that they only played this live. They would improvise and expand on a lot of their songs in concert. In the extremely long live performances of Dazed and Confused they would sometimes insert "San Francisco", "Woodstock" or some other song in the middle of it.
