This circuit can not and will not work properly. You clearly do not understand how this things work...
can we use led SMD5050 or SMD4014 (12 v also ) ?
Hello Can i use this on automotive bulb ? I want to run with this one bulb of 12v H1 55W but at 6V, is it safe ? That would be 23W and 9 amps right ? I will put a heatsink on the transistor though. Thank you!

Hi, thanks for video! Imade the circuit, it kinda works, but, the problem is the led is not as bright as connected straight to power supply when turned full power. Any solution?

I found that the circuit needs 4 volts to open fully, so my 12v power supply goiong thru the circuit only outputs 8 volts. "This circuit uses 4 volts to open the gate, so my 12v power supply delivers only 8 volts to the LED strip. It seems to me that a MOSFET requiring less voltage to open the gate would be much better for my application."
How much max current this mosfet support?

I created the circuit but it's not so bright when it was only connected to the power source
What is downside of using mosfet and potentiometer to dim 12 v led strip. (comparing it with pwm dimming)

It’s not as power efficient. He’s just using the mosfet as variable resistor.
Bro to reduce 12volts to 1.5 volts which value potentiometer we have to use

i dont get it why you put positive on drain and source in N channel mosfet
My led has white, red, green, yellow 4 wire, how do i connect these?
Can i use IRF520 instead of IRFZ44N?

If it is n channel mosfet then yes

This circuit uses 4 volts to open the gate, so my 12v power supply delivers only 8 volts to the LED strip. It seems to me that a MOSFET requiring less voltage to open the gate would be much better for my application.

That's what I'm working on figuring out. I need to dim custom RGBW with the factory dimmer switch which is a 0 - 5 v potentiometer. have my doubts based on my experiments. I tried just putting a 5k pot on the 12v and it worked to an extent, but the problem with RGB was it would only dim to an extent then all colors except red cut out because the voltage gets too low. I replaced the pot with a PWM fan controller and had better success since it maintains enough voltage to fire all colors. I am doing more experimenting. I am using a combination of RGBW for the cluster and other backlighting and RGBCCW for dome lighting / interior lighting.

BassMekanikPro Booster search the spec sheet for the mosfet.
No need for a DM13A unless using PWM on the gate pin to control a higher voltage /current source than the PWM can out put.. kinda like a relay.. not trying to be mean just stating the obvious

Можно и без мосфета, биполярного транза, и потенциометра на 10ком за глаза. Мосфеты дороже раза в 3

да, вы правы, Mosfets дороже, но вы можете использовать биполярный транзистор. но текущая пропускная способность будет низкой.

This circuit only 8 volt output , I required 12volt 2 amp

I was hoping to find a good video on dimming using the Gate pin of a MOSFET and PWM instead, we've got this guy over here soldering a potentiometer directly to the MOSFET 😅
