Glad Lectric now allows max throttle regardless of pedal assist level for those who like it that way.

Thanks for the review, especially posting the effects of the P settings on how the bike delivers power or speed. Seems they now let the reader decide on the style of power management, either levels set power to the motor or et speed targets, with the throttle tied into those or not. That’s good as it should satisfy a broader population of riders.

I've been waiting forever for this 2.0 version. Think I'm finally gonna pull the trigger. Want the belt drive, but I don't think it's worth the $100 difference. I think the sweet spot would have been $50 more and also include more colors.

Hello, I'm Carlos a XP3.0 e-bike Owner. I have a quick question for you if you know the answer. I adjust my back wheel rotors for not to rub on the pads. I did good but know my back breaks are not stopping 😱 I believe I need mineral oil. What do you think??

I may buy one on Black Friday, but if they offered the gates belt drive on the other colors, I'd buy it now. I'm hoping they make a change by then to offer it in all the colors.

@@EbikeEscape Perhaps they won't offer in other colors soon, but hopefully down the road. This is for my kids, and they can wait a little longer to buy the sub-par choice. I'll probably go with the white or blue. My wife and I have an Xpedition and Priority Current (w gates belt drive).

The most important thing I was looking for in a folding bike is the weight and then the price. My current folding e-bike (3.0) is just too heavy for this 65 year old woman to lift. This lighter weight bike will allow me to keep it stored in my TT and easy for me to lift it out when I get to the camp grounds😊

Gained a bigger battery while at the same time, somehow, lost some of its original charming looks. Looks way more generic now. Not sure what that's about. Used to actually look cool lol. But maybe a heat gun sticker removal is all I might need to fix that issue? I do love the color screen. Even though they're actually pretty late to the party on that one. But I can't even fathom why they haven't added a simple break light function to the rear light. That's a pretty important feature for anyone riding in any streets and especially at night. Seems like they're most recent styling for all of their latest generation of bikes are like, for some really old english dude that wears a golf outfit and smokes a pipe with a smoking jacket hahaha. Like Mary Poppins era or something like that. I prefer the xp 2.0/ xp lite generation as far as the looks and style goes. Felt more young and hip, and most importantly, FUN!! Seems like maybe they're trying to appeal to a more sophisticated crowd?? I dunno... My biggest wonder/issue is that Other companies have since copied their xp lite designa and have actually improved upon it much better than this offering imo. Bigger motor, an actual working break light, and a great color screen/bigger battery to name a few. So For $1099 I can get a 14ah gates belt 300watt bike. Or closer to 6 and 700 I can get a 350-750 watt motor with a 10 -12ah battery that also looks better than either version. Gotrax comes immediately to mind. Also, Jasion has a full suspension bike that can reach up to 28mph, that is dang near the same size, and also comes with racks and fenders for like 700?? So needless to say, this one isn't by any means a must buy or gotta have it.

The Lite 2.0 has a color display and hydraulic brakes, if you compared it to the F1 from Gotrax which I think you are, the Gotrax has a bigger battery but lower peak power and amperage controller while the Lite has a bigger controller meaning a bigger peak and hydraulic brakes which the Gotrax does not. Also Lite is UL 2849 and the F1 is UL 2272 which is a lower safety rating by UL standards and does not meet NYC requirements for eBikes. The Jaison is using peak as their rating if you used the Lite 2.0 peak rating for motor output it would be the same for the two of them🤷 I like the safety of UL2849, Hydraulic Brakes, and a known brand over one trying to get cute with their numbers/ratings

@@RileyRacing-wl7bu those are excellent point. Much appreciated. I was thinking about it after and even went and looked at a video again of some of said competition, and one thin for sure I could tell, was the quality of parts and detail is definitely much higher with the new xp lite 2,0. Seems like the riding experience might feel more expensive? For lack of a better word lol. Like the details are of higher end quality, which does make for a nicer ride.. also out of curiosity, does the carbon Bates chain make any noise at all like a normal chain? As in, when you're not pedalling, does it make that clacking sound that regular chain hubs make?

@@akyerit I assume so or at least that's what everyone says in respect to belt drives. I actually ordered the JW long range so stay tuned. Main reason was the just the idea of really easy to take of for hydraulic and belt, I like the idea of just forgetting about it once I get it (aside from pads lol)
