I'm a Chicagoan born and raised right here. Michael Jordan was not only the greatest player of all time which was and is evidenced by what he did in the NBA, he was also just a guy who loved performing and playing in the off season. Back then, in Chicago, they had summer leagues where our city's best high school, college, and pro players would come to gyms in the inner city neighborhoods and play for free just to give those of us who couldn't get a ticket to the Chicago Stadium a chance to see basketball played on a higher level. Jordan NEVER missed out on those kinds of things. Because of him, players like Dominique Wilkins and hometown guys who went to play in other cities like Mark Aguirre would show up. Those were some great games that they put on. All for free. It's just not something that you would see great players doing much of today. I remember a commercial that Jordan had long before the championship years called "The Love Of The Game Clause" It was a Nike commercial where Jordan talked about his ability to drive down the street, see a bunch of guys playing a pickup game, pull his car over and get out and play. He said in the commercial that he was the only player in the league at the time who had it in his contract that he could play those kinds of games and if he got hurt he could still be paid. It was the "love of the game clause" in his contract. I'll never forget that. That man was something special. I don't know what players today do when they're driving down the street in urban areas where they see guys playing. But I know what Michael did in Chicago in the mid to late 80s and beyond. I just wanted to share that with friends of basketball.

4 years later of stats and lebron hasn't moved in the goat convo. Jordan's run was so dominant it'll never be replicated again. Lebron isn't above kareem, kobe, or magic imo...even Bird. Lebron is great, but is the softest "superstar" ever. Takes no accountability, blames teammates and coaches constantly. Disgraceful calling himself "goat". That Walter Payton quote is too poetic in that aspect.

The Warriors had a ALL TIME REGULAR SEASON RECORD of 73 WINS - 9 LOSSES... YET, they UTTERLY FAILED to WIN THE BIGGEST PRIZE IN THE NBA WORLD.... THE FINALS... THE CHAMPIONSHIP. AND... while GSW were LEGENDARY... they COULDN'T PRODUCE A THREE-PEAT... Jordan's Chicago Bulls did it TWICE, which was said in THIS video... so... "FACTS don't care about your FEELINGS." mentality. How's THAT for some UGLY TRUTH. Bronsexuals will NEVER, EVER, E-V-E-R hold LeBron James accountable for his failures OR his TEAM'S PISS-POOR PERFORMANCE in the NBA PLAYOFFS & NBA FINALS. One thing that can be said is LeBron James is on a HAND-PICKED TEAM, which he fashioned AROUND HIMSELF, so that False narrative that Jordan is TOTALLY FAKE... JORDAN NEVER, EVER PLAYED WITH A ALL-STAR (until Scottie Pippin made the ALL-STAR TALENT LEVEL later on in his career). So, yeah... MJ IS STILL THE REAL DEAL GREATEST INDIVIDUAL PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL PLAYER OF ALL TIME. NO CAP. PERIOD. Now, seriously, James isn't even in Kobe Bryant's level of GREATNESS, Competitiveness, & OVERALL BASKETBALL LEADERSHIP ABILITIES... much less in JORDAN'S GOD-LIKE STATISTICS LEVEL, TITAN-LIKE GREATNESS, COMPETITIVENESS, & GOD-LIKE LEADERSHIP LEVEL (remember he played on BOTH SIDES OF THE BASKETBALL... OUTSTANDING OFFENSE & SUFFOCATING DEFENSE FOR THE FULL 48 MINUTES EVERYTIME, ALL DAY, EVERY DAMN DAY). What BETTER mentor for Kobe Bryant to have than His Airness. 'NUFF SAID. MIC DROP 🎤.

The Warriors then had to sign Kevin Durant for one reason and one reason only "TO BEAT LEBRON!!.MJ had Scottie, kuckos ,rodman ,kerr and a hall of fame coach in Phil Jackson all in the same team!!

  • @TJS-ms5gm

@@freddytorres3609 Let's GO WITH THE FACTS... JORDAN'S FIRST THREE-PEAT happened when he was the ONLY ALL-STAR TALENT, 'cuz Pippin was STILL getting used to life under playing with someone as TALENTED as JORDAN. The Chicago Bulls did NOT have Rodman due to his " personal legacy" in the Detroit Pistons (The LEGENDARY BAD BOYZ). Kerr, was acquired AFTER Jordan's FIRST THREE-PEAT, as was Tony Kukoc, & the REST of the Chicago Bulls roster that were responsible for JORDAN & Phil Jackson's SECOND THREE-PEAT... to include Longley & Ron Harper. SO... YEAH... FACTS DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS mentality DOES APPLY HERE. SORRY FOR RAINING ON YOUR PARADE... BUT... YUP... LeBron James isn't worthy. But, he's ALSO the one who said... "In the end, it's just BASKETBALL." Spoken like a TRUE LOSER. I rest my case. MIC DROP 🎤.

I’m a year younger than Lebron and from a CLE suburb. My first love, aside from my own mother, was Mark Price and the early ‘90s Cavs. My bias has always leaned Lebron. I was even a “Lebron GOAT truther” after the 2016 finals, thought he had to be the best player ever. Especially since I had no love for MJ, considering he single handedly erased my favorite sports team from historical memory. But I knew I was only 12 when MJ retired, too young to ever analyze MJs game or really even remember much of it. So sometime around 2019 I decided to finally due my due diligence and look up some classic Cavs vs MJ games, some MJ highlights, and some of his lesser known accomplishments. Here’s what I learned. The more you dig into MJ, the more impressive he gets. The inverse is true for Lebron. And TBH, at this point I think it’s ridiculous the LeMedia has convinced the majority of ppl Lebron is the consensus #2. I personally have trouble ranking the greats 1-10, so my ranking is tiers. There’s Tier MJ (Tier 1) bc two 3peats with entirely different rosters (Pippen the only single player left from the 1st), 10 scoring titles, 3x steals leader, 639 games played never losing more than 2 in a row. He’s not the basketball player of all time, he’s the greatest athlete in any sport ever so yeah, he gets his own tier. Tier Two is everyone with a legit GOAT case had MJ not existed. This is where Wilt and Bill would go but bc they placed during the leagues infancy when the game has changed so much, I like to give them their own place as the godfathers who laid the foundation, GOATs in their own right but impossible to objectively rank among the modern game. So Tier 2 is where I put Magic, Larry Legend, Kareem, Hakeem, Kobe. Then Tier 3 is also packed with absolutely incredible players, Duncan, Steph, Shaq, and yes, Lebron. Theres no shame being on this Tier, and it’s absolutely where Lebron belongs when you look at what he accomplished. He was a great player who rarely underachieved, but also almost never overachieved. Especially when you consider how much talent he’s had his entire career…

The resting on defense and the limited amount of defensive win shares and the fact that LeBron still trailed Jordan in offensive rebounds and steals destroyed the longevity argument for him. The only thing that I disagree with this video is LeBron having a longer peak that is still going because he rests on both offense and defense and needs super teams to win but still lost and even missed the playoffs with better teammates than what MJ won championships with and the rules changes after his rookie season helped him look great.

It's never been a debate, there was a time I thought LeBron could be 2nd. But over time I started looking more thoroughly into it and saw he really wasn't that high up. He's still an all-time great but just not on that level. Wilt Chamberlain would be the GOAT if it was only stats. He played and lived for stats just like LeBron is doing. And the fact that he hasn't consistently been a great shooter outside 3ft as a wing proves he's not that guy.

Lebron doesn't make players around him better. In fact they have to adjust there games to tailor there abilities to complement Lebrons flawed approach to playing the game. This also shows his ignorance of the game. Mental toughnes?? Lebron throws whomever he can under the bus to excuse himself from accountability. Kobe and MJ took responsibility for why they lost a playoff game or series. Mental toughness is huge and I'm sorry Lebron has folded way too much in times of pressure. Lebron isn't even in my top 10 because he simply lacks humility. No one has sat Lebron down to explain to him that he needs to grow up and start being aware of yourself. All the talent lebron has played alongside him to fail as much as he has is enough to laugh at the biggest bs argument of all time!!

Did y'all hear me say he was ecstatic when he won for Cleveland? He was ecstatic. He was so ecstatic he lost his mind and called himself the greatest of all times just because he brought a title to a city that hadn't had one. If that's the case, Michael Jordan could have just called himself that back when he won one from Chicago. You see what I'm saying. You can't call yourself the greatest cuz you won a championship cuz your team hasn't had one in 50 years. You know that doesn't make you the greatest it don't. It's like doing some one time and now all of a sudden you the best in the land forever really? You did it one time. Wow! Ask him how many championships did he win for Cleveland before giving up on them again and leaving. Wow! Get it together guys when y'all talking about your players. Most things like the movie My cousin Vinny most things y'all say end up convicting LeBron as being lesser than Jordan. You're proving our point with what you're trying to say about LeBron being great, just stop there is Michael Jordan and then there is everybody else. I don't care what they say. I don't care. What Will Chamberlain say. It was a great player in this day when he was young. Yes he was a beast but I just think Jordan is so elusive and with those springs in them legs that he got his young self prime against Will Chamberlain young self prime would be a problem for Will Chamberlain Mike was relentless and Wilt was a little stiff that would have been a really bad disadvantage for him. Wilt wasn't as agile as Mike. Mike was agile elusive quick and could spring out of the gym on you at a moment's notice that is dangerous. That is the type thing that'll make you go to the Boston garden and drop 64 on Larry Bird and Boston Celtics head and make Larry call you God I've never heard anybody refer to LeBron James as being God as being an offensive Juggernaut use words like his defensive Morales I've never heard them use words like that for LeBron. They used words for Jordan that you had to go look up. If you just wasn't already smart. There is no comparison. It's not even close. If Jordan played in this era right now, this man would be considered. It probably isn't even a word for what he would be considered literally out there. Still dropping 50 balls on people head and he's over 50. He's 60 if I'm not mistaken or close to 60 years old

I feel like he only put in the "longevity" category jus to be able to give lebron a win... but the longevity thing isn't all that impressive and I disagree that lebrons peak lasted 16 yrs.. he was not in peak form his first few seasons in the league...he didnt hit his peak till like 07 and ended in like 2017-2018... so his peak was about 10 yrs... Jordan on the other was pretty much in peak form as soon as he came into the league. When's the last time we seen a rookie average 28ppg and lead the whole league in total points? Lebron not even a legit top 10 all time talent, he has no business being brought up in the same sentence as Michael Jordan...

Bro you off on ALMOST every topic you touched on. It's clearly bias. That man said he felt he achieved that status cause he beat a team that had the best record, and was down 3-1. You pressing winning chips where TEAMS does that. Not individual players. The fact that you used a 4 year old video is crazy. This might be your biggest fail. ALL TIME. Look at both players individual ALL TIME stats, and see what you come up with. If you want to argue better player it becomes a debate. When you say ALL TIME numbers don't lie.
