Naming the other victims to begin his speech was a first class move by LBJ. Say what you want about his talk regarding basketball, when its not about the game he knows just what to say. Incredible from the heart speech.

It wasn't too classy to pronounce them wrong. Was he angry with the pilot? Is that why he mispronounced his name? Or did he just not bother to make sure he knew the names because nobody's going to dare to criticise him? As far as the speech goes, it was pretty corny to do the whole "they told me to say this, but I'm going to speak from the heart" routine. He knows how to work a crowd, especially when the crowd is begging to be worked.

It's a sad fact that some of the most impactful people die too soon...I think of Jesus Christ, Martin Luther King Jr., Tupac and I'm sure you can add to the list. I'm a die hard Kobe fan, but something we are all guilty of is looking at our favorite celebrities as gods in a sense we see them do great things we can't imagine doing and our perception of them is more than human. But at the end of the day we are all mortal and transcend after our time here is up, when you just think about it it's hard to come to the fact we are not going to live forever. But while we are here we need to do our best to live our very best lives...

By far my favorite player I was just having a argument Friday at work of how great Kobe is. The greatest player I ever seen in my life the most skilled player to ever play the game.

I'm a Warriors fan, so I grew up rooting against Kobe and later LeBron. But tonight, I stand behind Laker Nation and wish those who are connected the victim(be it family, friends, or even acquaintances) the best. Losing Kobe was extremely surreal and I was more broken-up by it than I'd ever I would be and that sorrow exponentially rose once I found out his daughter was another victim. So again, rest in peace to all of the victims, this accident was devestating.

Guys I’m from South Africa 🇿🇦 where basketball is a slowly growing sport, but it’s not not at the status of the USA 🇺🇸. Kobe’s death really affected me because he is the reason I love basketball, he was the greatest, he was hardworking and inspiring. As a black women, I LOVE the fact that he stood up for women’s sports and fought hard for equality, his voice and actions really made a difference sports, so that women could be inspired by him to wrk and play hard. Love you Kobe Bryant❤️❤️❤️❤️
