The one thing about Kobe is that there is many people I know that don’t watch basketball or anything sports wise but they always knew Kobe and almost everything about him. That’s how I knew he was always a legend from knowing that he was everywhere without realizing. He truly was the definition of a legend and his mamba mentality is in everyone.

When you make a whole world cry from your death. It definitely means that you touched and inspired a whole generation and the ones to come. I live in Dubai and there was a Kobe tribute in every single public place. Kobe inspired me for more than 20 years and probably l got a into lot of trouble for spending too much time watching his highlights throughout the years. But man , with his death l just signed 20 more years of KZread videos of Kobe. There is not mamba out for me.

I definitely didn't cry! Nobody I know did either. A lot of people I talked to thought it was really stupid how they talked so much about 1 guy, when 9 people went down on the Copter. Thousands die everyday. Just because someone used to be able to play ball, that doesn't make him an idol. Foolishness!

@Outlaw well, he's dead now, son! So I'll take my life over that any day. You will never see Kobe again, unless it's a rerun video tapes or something. I'm still here writing, he can't do anything. Your idol was nothing more than a human. Now he's dead! Just like everyone else will be one day. I guess it doesn't really matter now what he did, huh?

The way Kobe carried himself; his confidence, his passion, his outlook on life. He truly did live like each day could be his last. He taught so many people so much. Every day he tried to be better. He tried to make others better. He tried to make everyone better. He truly was beyond just the sport of basketball. More than an Oscar. More than father. More than husband. He was, is, and always will be an icon, for not just the people who watched him play basketball or wore his jersey, but for anyone who will listen to his message. His legacy will be carried through generations. He will be deeply missed, deeply mourned, but also dearly remembered. We will remember his message more than everyday, more than just 24/7, but 24/8. RIP Mamba.

Kobe Bryant was my idol, a basketball legend, and a one in a billion person. Rarely do we see someone push and push with sheer will to the top through hard work and self improvement. We watched him spend the majority of his life in the NBA. We literally watched him grow up as we grew up just like a classmate from school we knew. I said it before and I'll say it again: I was never a Kobe fan but he is beyond worthy to be in the top 1% of all time greats of basketball and sports.

Found this heartbreaking quote “You can shed tears that he is gone, or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that he’ll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all he’s left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see him, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her only that he is gone, or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back. Or you can do what he’d want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.” ― David Harkins R.I.P. Kobe and the 8 others killed in the crash😞
