The one thing about Kobe is that there is many people I know that don’t watch basketball or anything sports wise but they always knew Kobe and almost everything about him. That’s how I knew he was always a legend from knowing that he was everywhere without realizing. He truly was the definition of a legend and his mamba mentality is in everyone.

When you make a whole world cry from your death. It definitely means that you touched and inspired a whole generation and the ones to come. I live in Dubai and there was a Kobe tribute in every single public place. Kobe inspired me for more than 20 years and probably l got a into lot of trouble for spending too much time watching his highlights throughout the years. But man , with his death l just signed 20 more years of KZread videos of Kobe. There is not mamba out for me.

It tugs at me so hard every time I think about Gianna, Kobe, and all the others lost that day. Though years have passed I still truly can't accept they were taken from us so abruptly with no one being able to see it coming nor stop it. Kobe Bryant was my idol, a basketball legend, and a one in a billion person. Rarely do we see someone push and push with sheer will to the top through hard work and self improvement. We will all miss the man, the legend, Kobe Bryant. Mamba out, but never forgotten.

When I heard the voice of Kobe during this tribute I broke down man. This has been a tough week. Just like many of you I never met him personally. But it's obvious he had a big impact on us. Let his fans know that "he sees you" only certain people can do that... make you feel like you matter. He was one of those. He was blessed..God touches a few and brings them center stage so they can set that example. He became great because of dedication and hard work BUT he was who he was because of his heavenly father. A coworker let me know why some of us were so hurt at this: we watched Kobe enter from high school because we were in high school when he left high school. We watched him spend the majority of his life in the NBA. We literally watched him grow up as we grew up just like a classmate from school we knew. I said it before and I'll say it again: I was never a Kobe fan but he is beyond worthy to be in the top 1% of all time greats of basketball and sports.

2 years later it still hurts as we all embark on three years since this talented, brilliant man left us. To me Kobe was the type of guy that i would hang out with. I think thats why i cry more in the month of August because this is the month he was born. Rest in peace Mamba

I've never been much of a basketball fan, but I've always loosely followed. Kobe was an inspiration for me. Between him and Champ Bailey, my favorite number will forever be 24. I work for everything I've ever owned and I work my ass off to get where I am today. I kept that mentality that he shared and I took that shit to heart. Rest in peace Kobe and Gigi 💜💛

No, no somehow I don't think he would have. Kobe was ruthless, but only because he understand human nature and what makes a champion. If one of his friends in basketball died, along with one of their children, I think Kobe would have cried more than Jordan did and he wouldn't have been afraid in the least to show it.

Wasn't even a Kobe fan before his untimely death. Now, I find myself thinking of him, his daughter and everyone else who passed too early. The greatest part of him was being there for his daughters. Praying for some normalcy for their families. 😢

This guy is truly special, sometimes I comeback to this video to remember, to remember something much more than just another NBA star. I'm sure many comeback to remember a man who brought light into our lives, a man who inspires us and makes us push forward. He Encouraged me into basketball I have been subbed in when I didnt want to. Now that Kobe is gone he is in all our hearts. When I was down Kobe sent me a message that said, "You get up. If you can't then you won't win. It is all on you." From that point on I have never given up on anybody. My The Black Mamba Rest In Peace. Never forgotten.😭

Sometimes I forget he’s gone. I always assume he’s out their playing basketball with his family. RIP the greatest of all time.
