@@87manemane Yeah, but that's because of the pandemic and it has no real competition, plus the long lock down has created a void that needed to be filled. My son who's 12 didn't like and it wasn't for me either. It was a movie with a over used plot but during this current climate people will take what they can get.

Space jam 1 was more or less a behind the scenes prequel to the last dance. Barkley etc made the original better. Esp the hospital scene where they all hit their faces, space jam 2 had mbj and warner properties in the background. Superman alone would have destroyed AD, sad no development of the monstars in 2 hours but 1/3 of the original 1.5 hour movie packed fumble hands barkley in it a few times.

@@vincegonzalez6804 hop off Jordan’s meat damn💀 The old one wasn’t half as funny or entertaining as new legacy. Literally had 1 joke in its entire runtime, and that was probably the secret stuff scene. As a kid I couldn’t take my eyes off of it, but I could barley watch it now. Not cuz it’s fur kids, but because it wasn’t entertaining enough and it had absolutely no depth But new legacy had it all. Hilarious jokes and entertainment, a great soundtrack, and it ACTUALLY had depth and tension. The last scene where bugs sacrificed himself was actually emotional. And when bron learned to love his son for who he is and they hugged was more meaningful than anything in the original.

The entire purpose of the movie was to show that parents should let kids be themselves. Meanwhile the old space jam had no message whatsoever other than JoRDaN IS SO AMaZiNG💀

How did they manage to argue two different points? Shannon arguing about the themes and message of the movies (only got one right), Skip arguing about the content and delivery. OG Space Jam is a better movie, more entertaining and has better acting from its lead. Both movies have a good message. Shannon summarized Space Jam 2's wonderfully. I think the original's message was about overcoming your doubts, fears, and anxieties to reach your fullest potential and take on any challenge in your way to best of your ability; also, teamwork makes the dreamwork, so be encouraging and have faith in those around you. It was much more than Michael Jordan's the savior. It is amazing how both their biases managed to taint their arguments, even about a topic like this. 😂😂

The original still better This one made hella money do to the cameos and loaded cast. But this has to be the last space jam segment ☠️☠️

I don't understand the complaint about Taskmaster being underutilized in Black Widow. She had some badass scenes on par with Bucky in The Winter Soldier. Beautiful Olga Kurylenko went from a Bond girl to a badass.

I love how Skip has the same intensity talking about a Toon movie and the NBA finals 😂

Why are people forgetting that the original 1996 version was about Jordan trying to honor his father after his fathers death due to him always wanting Jordan to play baseball. He literally says this in the beginning of the movie with MJ as a kid, calling baseball a real man's game. He also was not able to connect with his own son due to the pressure and slander of leaving the NBA during his prime, going to the MLB and being labeled a bust in the sport, etc. It was only when the Looney Tunes told MJ's son about how MJ is helping them save the world and thats why he has been missing and is the only one thatcan keep his secret along with his other siblings, is when he sees his father in a new light and begins to connect with him on a deeper level. MJ also makes peace with honoring his father but also realizing his destiny and his place in the world, as his talent is literally what saved the looney tunes from being enslaved, as well as putting his family first and supporting his son by the end of the movie

MJ ONE IS A CLASSIC

First of all they just giving the movie away...but the obsession Skips obsession for LeBron is ridiculous...
