So you're correct but the way medicine has been traditionally been presented is in terms of patient population. So, stats would be first grouped by race, which lent itself to the simplified statement that in "black men are at higher risk of developing chronic high BP.". What this actually was doing was codifying whatever situation that African Americans were normally in (low income, food deserts, lack of infrastructure) as this passively prejudiced "shorthand" for grouping people and addressing issues at large. It was semi functional during integration but has lost its usefulness over the years in favor of socioecon and education level. It's technically useful as an initial discussion element but that's it.

I think you would be the best thing for college basketball you would update the whole playbook the whole organization would change
