The question was, would he still be a dominant player without going to Miami? Bron was dominant before going to the heat. He couldn't beat the Celtics with the team he had. The owner kept on giving him old players like Shaq and Antwan Jamison, so he left. The question wasn't about rings

Being Dominate and not winning is a oxymoron. You can't be dominant if you not winning. Miami taught him how to win. Now we know him and DWade were gonna go to the Bulls to team up with Noah and DRose. That would have been a great team

  • @Keepdapocket

Disagree. You have to separate the team from individual when speaking of winning. Just some examples. Anthony Munoz was a dominant lineman for the bengals; widely regarded as the best line in football during his day, but never won the Super Bowl. Reggie white widely regarded as THE most dominant defensive lineman, won 1 Super Bowl. Wilt Chamberlin regarded as the most dominating ball player. Won 2 rings in his career. You can’t equate individual dominant play to winning in team sports. Lebron averaged a 30 point triple double, AND led both teams in all categories for a who finals series; the only one to do so in the history of the NBA. That’s dominant. He lost! Dominant and winning only equates to individual sports. Because it’s just you and you only. Also sander Karelian in wrestling. Usain Bolt and Edwin Loses in track! Rafael Nadal in the French open. So forth and so on. Ivan Lendl was actually dominant, but he could NEVER win any of the slams. Which is why he isn’t mentioned with the greats. He always teaches the finals, but chokes each time.

  • @liljaysdaddy

The fact that Bron took a mediocre team to the finals, had MVPs lets you know that he was already a winner, elite player and he’s clutch. If you’re a winner -you already know the game, if you’re an elite player -you already have the skills to be the best, if you’re clutch, you already have the ability to be great. So all he needed is to get the right folks around him. It takes a team and a good coach to win a ring. In Bron’s case, not only won multiple rings but he had rookie coaches. NOTE: MIAMI DIDN’T WIN UNTIL WADE TOLD BRON TO LEAD. IN OTHER WORDS, WADE COULDN’T WIN UNTIL BRON BECAME THE SYSTEM. Bron was being Bron during the first year in MIA, he was being great but he was playing with the system and it wasn’t until he became the system, that they started wining. For Shannon to flip is pretty interesting but I’m not surprised.i

Bron's one of the most dominant forces ever in the NBA when we're talking about physical attributes, athletic capabilities, durability, versatility, getting to the rim(especially when he was young) playmaking, and adapting his game over time... So I agree that he would be just as dominant, but probably wouldn't have had as many rings, but what i think he meant by "my career was gonna be my career regardless..." is it still would've played out in a similar fashion due to how he is and the work he puts into his craft, he pretty much said it he just didn't spell it out so people will talk about him and it worked 😂

If u REAL unlucky u might get none. Miami worked out good for Bron as far as rings go. But he was gonna be individually the same great player wherever he went. And he has been!!! He had mediocre teamates in cleveland for 8 yrs. Great teamates in Miami for 4 yrs. A tough opponent in San Antonio. Very good teamates back in cleveland for 4 yrs but a great opponent in Golden State. Good teamates in LA and a weaker opponent in miami in finals. I know people are going to get their butt hurt on this one. But he doesn’t lead his team. I been watching basket ball since the 70s. Mj, Kobe, bird all had something he doesn’t have. He not a killer and doesn’t have a mid change shot like them or can’t hit free throws at the line like them. He’s insecure in the moments and yes I know his hit those shots. But not when it counted most. And to top it off he wouldn’t have won in Miami with out that super team!! Straight up he only took over in one of the finals that he won also. That’s facts.
