Bernie was and still is my absolute favorite comedian, I cried so hard when he died. Katt showed straight love and respect to the KING. Watching his daughter respond just brought the tears again. First she looks just like him, and just seems so genuine just like her dad. I’d love to see her and Katt sit down and just have a conversation. RIP KING MAC FOREVER

I remember watching Soul Menn around the time of Bernie's passing and thinking that this is a fine tribute to Bernie's legacy. Bernie had the ability to be funny as hell; he had so many tools in his comedy toolkit. At the same time, he could be really warm and soulful, like how he was with his sitcom. I think if Bernie wanted to he could've been a tremendous dramatic actor. Look at Soul Men.

I watch Bernie and I laugh ...tears streaming down my face ...that man is my laughter medicine... And I share his humour with all my family and friends ...sending his vids to them ..cause I know he can make them laugh and lift there mood too ... King is king forever ...

Out of the blue, quiet and almost humbled, Katt will appear where she happens to be, and he will regale her with stories that will have her heart swollen with pride and eyes filled with tears, followed by some of the funniest shit the public will never hear. Katt has been a very quiet keeper of the history of this genre during his time. If Katt ever wrote a book, it would kick the comedian history door in and soon thereafter burn it flat with what he shared. Respect

Now what was the real take-a-way for me was that, NOT ONE of those he mentioned on the "Shay Shay" program said that Mr. Williams lied on them... A friend of mine pointed that out to me, and I said, "you know, they sho did not!!!

From someone who lost their dad, will be a year next month, this is such a beautiful moment. Much easier to get response of feedback from the world about Bernie, but much harder to get the truth. Yet, it was clear as day that he was one to be surely proud of. I am so happy for her and that she can carry that alongside her memories of her father.
