So experienced and seasonsed, it's pretty incredible to see him use his width and length to contest shots also helps that he's so sturdy and strong. Definitely All Defense this year.

The loudest don't even really watch the games, and if they do they aren't understanding what they're watching. He isn't always giving defense 100% but when he does he's still elite, also the media loves to downplay Lebron's defense.

Lebron at his peak was better than anyone not named Russell or Rodman. He was that good. Pippwn and Jordan were elite but no way they could guard 4s and 5s the way Lebron could at his best.

And the other dumbass said that jordan didnt do a lot of chasedown blocks..oh lord jordan is the best shot blocking shooting guard of all time and he might average more blocks than lebron.. And way better as a perimeter defender..And better at steals.. lebron is good for switching because he is strong and can move his feet but he is not consistently guarding legit centers.. I know you guys like bringing jordan down to bring lebron up but stop lying

@@geordiejones5618 Only reason pippen didnt guard big men was because they were much bigger and better back then.. Lebron would be a mismatch in the low post back then.. Jordan could probably guard todays power forwards since he is so strong for his size and pippen could probably guard almost anyone.. Lebron is slower than pippen laterally

People don’t understand that lebron was the biggest reason lakers were the number 1 rated defensive team this year . Now not to say he’s their best defensive player as that’s AD or he exerts the most effort on defensive every play but he was their defensive anchor this year especially with AD out for most of it

I feel like in the 2020-21 season, his help defense and off-ball defense was spectacular, and in the 2019-20 season, his on-ball defense was great. When he locks in, he can be an elite-level defender.

Thats a smart play when you have someone faster then you and can shoot you play close up defense and when they get passed your teammate picks him up while you run and go pick up his player...its smart defense look how lakers play against harden

He would look more like this again if the Lakers had better rim protection for him to play aggressive D on the perimeter. The problem with the current Lakers is they have no one who can contain dribble penetration and 0 front court depth. Their only real rim protector is AD and he's always out. Thomas Bryant is a sieve. I remember a couple nights ago LeBron completely clamped Dejounte Murray on the perimeter but it didn't matter because Westbrook was ball watching and let his guy get the putback. If LeBron strays from the rim they just give up offensive rebounds and layups which is why he plays a more stationary role as a backline defender in smaller lineups.
