1:30 - I know his game 7 chasedown block in the finals on Iggy is considered his greatest block of all time, but this will always be my favorite block from him. Face to face with Splitter, 100% clean, the height off of the vertical, the power and strength of the deflection - plus he proceeded to get a block, an assist, a steal and a dunk in the same exact sequence.

There was a match in march 2012, Miami vs Lakers. Pau was played so good in 1st quarter he was just dominating Bosh and if they double team he passing so like miami has no answer for him. After the 2nd quarter LeBron just start guarding Pau, (there is a video in youtube) he just collapsed him on defense Pau literally didnt do ANYTHING in rest of the game. But the real scary thing is coming now the week after that match they played against Bucks so Lebron just did same thing to Monta Ellis. So basically this dude just locked up one of the most explosive pg's in league and a dude with one of the best post moves in league in same week. In his Miami years LeBron was just doing whatever-whenever the team needs on defense. This is why i never saw anything like LeBron's defense, yes there are some dudes like Simmons-Giannis who can defend 1-5 but believe me they not even close to prime LeBron. Some guys calls me crazy and ignorant basketball watcher but i aint care. LeBron is top 5 defender in NBA history.

Genuine question who did Bron lock up this yr? It seemed mainly like team defensive plays like blocks and steals, not sayin Marc Gasol locked up any bigs either but wonder what their difference was when guarding all star level players bc Gasol avg 2 blocks a game and 1 steal and Bron avg 2 steals a game and 1 block so that’s even but then I imagine Bron locking up more guys in position 1-5 and locking them up compared to Marc Gasol and if that’s the case Bron was def robbed

The year Gasol defensive rating was 5th and Lebron was 49th? Lebron was not robbed of DPOY in 2013, Gasol was robbed of being named to the All Defensive First Team

Amazing. 8 minutes of "highlight" clips for LeFraud. Only half of them were fouls, another 40% were shots he made 3 inches from the basket, aka, his range. This 8 minutes really negates the 8,000 hours of clips of him; flopping, charging, traveling, whining, or, his personal favorite, being the all-time leader, turning the ball over. 😂

All big defensive metrics had Gasol over LBJ, even by quite a bit: Defensive Win Shares: Marc Gasol: 5.4 (2nd place) LeBron James: 4.7 (10th place) Defensive Rating (Individual): Marc Gasol: 98 (6th place) LeBron James: 101 (49th place) Defensive Plus Minus: Marc Gasol: 3.1 (1st place) LeBron James: 2.4 (5th place) The Grizz where also the better defensive team that year. Defensive stats are always a bit muddy but to see Gasol higher in all the main ones says something. The LBJ mythos is growing out of control nowadays. Marc deserved that DPoY award

According to Raptors analytics director Alex Rucker, LeBron plays defense like the idealized "ghost" defenders in the computer program play defense James can mimic [a computerized] hyperactive ghost in a way no other player can, Rucker says. 'LeBron basically messes up the system and the ghosts,' Rucker says. 'He does things that are just unsustainable for most players.'" insane
