I'm from Cleveland and I'm grateful to Lebron for the Championship he helped bring to the Cavs. I can't give the goat title to him, in my opinion players that jump from team to team like KD and Lebron as well as others to form super teams in order to win titles can't be considered the goat. Can you imagine how many titles would have been won if MJ, Bird and Magic would have formed a super team. Their thought process was I want to Beat the best not join them.

Facts... Totally agree! And, not only do I want to score on you, but I also want to shut you down.

"explosion in a lack of defence" That was a perfect way to say it

Ya it is hard to play defense now when you can't touch anyone and super stars can take 5 steps without dribbling or can put their hand under the ball and stop dribbling and then just start again without getting travel and double dribble calls. Defense has been officiated out of the game.

They need to turn the NBA back to the way it was when Michael Jordan was on the court. Today's NBA is a lot more boring than before.

@@jefferycollyge3877 Honestly, I think it needs to go back to the early 2000's when Kobe was on the court. Defense was very important and there was less fights than in the early 90's and late 80's. I think that was the perfect blend of offense and defense for the game. I don't want super hard fouls that injure players, but I also don't want super stars that are able to do what ever they please on offense. Calling travels and double dribbles, and carrying violations, and charges on offensive players and not just allowing 40 free throws a game would go a long way to both preventing injuries, increasing defense AND showing great skill expression from players.

A classic Michael Jordan story!😄 The players of the other team thinks they dominate and that they are doing great against Michael Jordan and when Michael Jordan starts playing 💯 it's game over 😅😂😅😅

If you wanna bring defense back, you need to call travels (st least like they used to win the 90s in 2000s), and handchecking. That alone would be enough to get it down to at least 110. If you want it even lower than you have to change the refereeing too.

I’m curious how the scoring would look like with that tough 90’s defense

I’m not sure about others but I think this pin-points my ultimate issue with LeBron and why I can’t put him over Jordan. Kobe and MJ both competed in dunk contests. This means they put themselves out there with a chance at not just embarrassing himself but losing. Their competitive nature was so deeply ingrained that it was greater than embarrassment. LeBron would say for years when he was younger that he was eventually going to do this but never followed through. I’d even give him a little break because dunking isn’t really his thing creatively. I really liked LeBron early in his career and often rooted for the Cavs. He has just made it harder over the years. I remember Jeter saying once that he enjoyed silencing a road crowd more than the cheers he got from fans at Yankee stadium. That’s a very Kobe or Brady thing. Kobe and Brady played teams I rooted for and also created heartbreak for me in sports terms. I always respected them. Everyone always says LeBron can guard 1-5 which is ridiculous. Did he guard prime Dwight Howard in ‘09 when he was torching them? Did he guard Dirk in clutch situations…or any really?? I don’t honestly think he should have been expected to try and guard Howard but people can’t just say stuff. He can’t guard 1-5. I’ll give him credit for matching up with KD some on Golden State. See D-Wade and LeBron saw how early Kobe got up to practice and committed he was while on the Redeem Team. They were coming back in from the club and he was already up and working out after a shoot-around. By the end of camp they all were. Then a year later after Kobe won a ring he basically called LeBron and said, “It’s going to take both of us to compete with him. MJ has the worst three point shoot out in history but he wanted to try it and did. They competed.

Thank you for this analysis. Games are more exciting when the offense actually has to work to beat the defense. Imo fans want the defense to have a chance at affecting the game.

ofc you can't stop these cats nowadays. rules dont apply for attacking players, its their playground, defenders can either foul out or do the good ole ball watching. attacker got problems? np a dribble move where they will carry the fck out of the ball, then double step back(travelling) then shoot. or carry the ball with another dribble move, cant shake off defender, start making their way to the lane get the ball back gather step, "zero step", 0.75 step, 0.50 step, 0.25 step, push off defender/shoulder drop on defender/push off defenders arm trying to go for the block AND ONE. i can keep giving examples like these for days.

Maybe he is confident on he's skill and maybe thats what he thiinks he's good and cool to watch when he played.. But its not and you know that dont fool your self.. But i get you man its ok to defend your man a little bit.. Even you know what is the truth.. You watch him always and when you watch him play you know its not that cool to watch no excitement when he play its so boring all he's moves is like bulldozing no strategies just straight to the cup swinging defenders..in 20years he played all of hes moves is like that. My god he should played rugby instead of basketbal.. Maybe there thats cool to watch..when he have a mixtape that is the only thing you see is bulldozing over and over again...💯😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣..

LeBron isn't in the top 5 players to have worn a Lakers' jersey. Jerry West, Wilt, Kareem, Magic and Kobe are all better than Lebron,

MJ was a failure in Washington, so please stop the foolishness Lebron will be the all time scoring leader for the rest of your life.
