the dog died due to the fact that he wasnt caring for it. the creator said that dog probably died due a mixture of exhaustion and starvation or something like that

Going by the lyrics and tone of the song I don't think it ends at burning alive for him. I think his soul is being condemned to hell with Luanne tormenting him forever the way he did to her in life.

Yes, with the part about chains, I think of it like because of her past abuse she feels chained to him and the house (since she could never leave), so God allows her to come back and send him to hell as punishment for his crimes and so she can lose her chains.

Ok since I don't see anyone saying this I am going to, In the song lyrics, it says that Luanne's husband "No one ever loved you" the last line says "God loves Luanne praise be amen" which is soo sweet.

Btw that guy didn’t killed the dog. He tried to search for it but apparently it got killed by Mother Nature. This was by the comment by the creator of this animatic

I think the reason that Luanne didn't make him suffer more because she is a merciful soul and she knows how it feels to be in that kind of pain. And even though he hurt her she has that kindness that didn't make it worse (but I do agree he should have been hurt like she was)

Its a bit wrong in thr animatic. Lyrics wise I think she didnt burn him but she tortured him the way he did her. The chains representing that he is bound to her now, no way out for him, she can torture him as much as she wants. And the howling and sighing is, this time him, making noises from the beatings and pain. Also her line "I've come to settle a score." Implying she wants to hurt him more times than he did her. Ki da one up him

From what the creator of the animatic said. The dog died soon afterwards due mistreatment I.e he wasnt feeding the dog or taking proper care of it and the natural course of starvation killed it. so yeah he killed the dog by starving it

The dog was meant to send him chasing after it so she had an opportunity to escape.

God, I love this whole musical, it's just so good. And it's implied that he was dragged to hell and that's what the fire represents. Honestly, this song is so amazing but so saddddd.

I think they all where in alot of musicals. The femsle voice was Naomi in 21 Chump Street.

I learned two things, first being this was a sad but moving animatic. The second being stay on your good side cause it sounds like no one wants to get haunted by Aychrstene ;)

"She drowned herself" some say He's saying that to himself aka wasn't suicide (whatever helps you sleep at night, bastard 😒)

The inspo for this “musical” (which from what I know it’s a series of unrelated songs and people are performing them) are a set of images. The one for this song is a man with a deer head and dim lighting (:

Domestic abuse and Animal abuse. I could never ever never ever EVER forgive someone of that or tbh any abuse generally

1. He didn't kill the dog. At least not in the song. That's probably animatic's author's interpretation, but there wasn't anything like this in the song. 2. He deserved worse, of course and he DID get worse punishment. In this animatic she burns the house, but in the song (if I understand correctly) nothing like this happens. Luanne haunts him and other abusive men in their dreams, so they will never sleep again when they live (that's actually a line from this song) and brings them to hell when they die.

I think what that specific line meant was what the bastard had told about Luanne's death. He told people she drowned herself which i think could imply either suicide or some sort of accident

Some people suggest that Luanne committed suicide and got damned to Hell for it. But I like to think she was beaten to death by her hubby and was made an avenging angel spirit. To support this idea, remember the closing verse; "God loves Luanne, praise be! AMEN"

Every time I hear this song I can't help but think about how stupid Luanne was. No becouse she didn't leave sooner, I know that's hard. But becouse she shouted him awake when she had the PERFECT oportunity to escape in silence. And than she takes a dive in the swamp close by instead of running till day break to the next city. (Also, I can never decide for myselfe if she drowned herselfe, or if he drowned her. But I tend to asume the latter)

I personally think letting the dog out was smart of her mainly cause while he was distracted chasing it (depending on how fast the dog was) he could be gone for a while and Luanne could go to escape, and I assume that the first place he wouldn’t go to is the swamp but I’m probs wrong as hell cause he did find her eventually lol 😅
