6.0’s are amazing for mx and surprisingly good for pedalling great protection too I’ve had to test it multiple times

I wear Airflex Pro on BMX, as well. Fits under jeans. Saved my knee from stem and bar impacts a few times. Completely unobtrusive.

i use the 3.0EXT knee and shin. the best part of them is they go on and not pull up. easy to put on and take off. uphill does become a little tiring but better safe then sorry and i hate my pedal pins digging into my shins

A pedal to the shin is the worst! Thanks for giving us your feedback and letting us know how you like the Leatt 3.0 EXT.

I have the Leatt 3DF 6.0, I've used them in enduro mtb and now in enduro moto, They fit me well with the Gaerne SG12 Boots. They're already worn out but looking to buy a new set.

Great overview. What size are you testing? Specifically for the 3DF 5.0, Leatt sizing sizing runs a bit all over the place.

I would wear a L but I also have a 16 inch calf so I'm not the best reference. - Chase

How are any of these in a MX boot? I have never found any to give me protection and comfort. Usually when I go for the protection my boot won't cinch at the top.

depends on your boots, mine have a pocket for shinguards and so they feel loose without anything on the shin/knee

The Dual Axis doesn't fit in this lineup? I was looking at this one for MX.

Would something in this lineup be better than lets say the leatt dual axis. I mainly ride enduro single track on the dirtbike and im typically wearing tech1 enduro boots???

You could use either. It's all personal preference. For Moto, I would probably prefer a hard plastic knee guard like the Dual Axis. But I'd also check out the TP199 knee guard from EVS! www.rockymountainatvmc.com/riding-gear/evs-tp199-knee-shin-guards-p

For an electric scooter that goes up to 100km/h should I use the dual axis from leatt instead of the 3DF 6.0 ?

Are the models that have shin protection, are these supposed to end up inside your boot? I have no room in my boot for anything other than my legs and socks

  • @rmatvmc

It will depend on the knee/shin guard but yes, many of them are meant to be tucked into boots. Not sure if you've already played with the adjustments on your boots but you should be able to loosen the straps to make more room.

My wife says that with the model wearing shorts you can’t see how much of the leg the knee guard covers up So please remake this video and put the model in tidy Whiteys
