SK11 Japanese Pull Saw Style Jig Saw Blade: amzn.to/3kYZzpl
What I called teflon tape is actually UHMW tape: amzn.to/38XsW6J
Exact same Expansion Coupler is have is this one: amzn.to/3ioOJXV
The caps I used are Carlon brand 1/2" E958D
The gas can cap actually seals better than I show in the video. My epoxy work has an air leak in it. Hole size I made was a little big at 9/16" (1/2" hole was too small) for these amzn.to/3nVDVlb
Silky Pocket Boy 170 curve: amzn.to/2LXjXJu

After publishing the video I realized the air leak was not the gas can vent cap it was my lousy epoxy job. Those gas can caps actually work better than I show in the video. The tape I used is not Teflon, it is UHMW. If you buy the SK11 blades DO NOT use them in a jigsaw. This video will show why: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gKaoq7SQhbKYdKg.html

I like your blade storage idea it would make great dual purpose storage and a bellow for fire making.

How about the heat forming the PVC with the heat gun? It require a rectangle for a few flat blades, and I guess that smaller tube you was showing can fit a few inside. Tail can be sealed with a heat, only a cap may need some filing work, I suppose.

I fixed the wobbling blade by putting a layer on JB Weld on the tang of the Tshank blades. After it Hardened I filed it to the appropriate thickness.

Just tried this. A bit fussy to get the thickness right (!) but overall very happy with the outcome. Thanks for the great idea!

Good idea, I’d probably just jam a piece of bicycle tubing in there and call it a day lol.

Try laminating another thin used blade snapped or cut to your optimal length for play and rigidity. Use JB weld or or a flexible like 6000E glue.

Use heat shrink on the t shank so it will help eliminate the blade play.

I thought we had to use blades with the little hole. I guess we don’t. Well imma get some blades now. Couldn’t find any here with the holes in the t shank. Thanks for this.

Works very well, the slop can be dealt with. I’d grind off those last few teeth since you’re not cutting with them anyway. They could snag your glove too.

Wrap the blade in a couple of layers of newspaper. That is how I transport kitchen knives after sharpening them for others.

get a smaller pvc diameter and then blow hot air through it and flatten it abit . that way the saws fit and the form factor fits better in a pocket

Enthusiasts solve this problem by cutting a 1 mm thickness insert for a holder on a laser metal cutting machine. It's a Blade tail-like shape, and it's is on a local market now. Already bought a few of them now. Its not patented - do it for yourself.

Really nice saw blade but I'd be so annoyed that I might snap it. I also don't really like that exchanger on the Surge. It is way too weak for my taste.

You need to use the correct tool for each job to be done, a hand multitool is designed for small jobs and people like this trying to demonstrate the tool is inefficient when it never was designed for that.
