Its rare that im exited about the release of a tool video. Yet im always happy when you upload a new video. Question for you, do you happen to know if there is a japanese product similar to Vessel QB-10B3 bit holders but for sockets ? I happen to DIY exclusively on hondas, so the only sockets i need are 10/12/14 mm to do 99% of the work. It would be so cool to just have these socket ready to grab on my waist. Thanks! Good stuff

My favourite product in this video would have to be the 200ml oil squirter, Ive been meaning to get one since the last video thatbshowed them months ago. So glad Bzeug is back doing Japanese tool hauls, I've missed them.

I don't think the 13mm anvil is actually defined in JIS, it's just a defacto standard (also known as vessel standard or Type A whereas E6 is type B)

Finally a new video. I almost thought you went broke from all the tools lol Looks like you got the CL003g vacuum. I have a white one a little over a year now, and i dont know. Its the first Makita tool that Im a bit disappointed with. Expected more suckage

I don't think it's powerful enough to be the sole vacuum for most households. It''s still behind most "good" corded vacuums by a noticeable amount suction/deep cleaning wise. The only cordless vacuum i've used that seemed to have more suction is the Dyson and it only seemed marginally better, but I didn't do any sort of testing/measuring. For a light cleaning tool it's been fanatic though, much, much better than the 18v model. Out of curiosity have you used a cordless you thought was significantly better? or is it just comparing to a corded that's underwhelming?

@@specialK319319 We have a Dyson too. I think its the v8. Its a good fancy vac, good suction, definitely louder than the CL003, but the built in battery and the runtime is just a joke. And for the Dyson money i can buy 4 Makita stick vacs lol. Bought a cheapo 18V lxt adapter for the dyson, but then it has slightly less power because of the only 18V max. I hoped the XGT-Makita would outperform the Dyson or or at least be as good It seems to me that the older CL001g without the cyclone sucks better. And you can add the cyclone if you need it instead of having the cyclone fix in place.

  • @nicoquattro3950

@@specialK319319 We have a Dyson too. I think its the V8. Its basically a really good vac, but... - its very loud - and has a built in battery - and its not cheap I have a small corded Kärcher wet and dry vac for the really heavy stuff around the house and car stuff. Im sure thats unmatched by any battery powered vac. I bought an LXT adapter for the Dyson, but of course it has less power with the LXT battery because of only 18V instead of 21,5V or what voltage the Dyson battery has. I hoped the CL003 with its 40V would surpass the Dyson or at least would be as good as the Dyson. But the motor is too small, or the built in cyclone is the problem. Tools&Stuff made a video with the older 40V CL001, and it seems to me that the CL001 sucks way better than the CL003. Someone should make a CL001 vs CL003- video, but not me, I dont buy another vac unless one lets out the magic smoke. Long story short: I would buy the CL001 and if i want a cyclone i can attach the additional one from Makita.

Thank you for the video. That oiler design is very thoughtful. I personally use a regular spray bottle and let it rip since oil is cheap and a few drops isn’t the end of the world. If I can get the spray head with a tube that would be nice for better precision. I have 3 aerosol can trays on the side of my toolbox and it can only fit small spray bottles so I’m limited to what I can use.

@@bzeug I really like traveling with a toilet, shower, kitchen and refrigerator. A minivan could be a lot of fun if I was going somewhere that had most of those already there. We do end up at camp sites some of the time, but other times we are just in random BLM land. Back to tools: I’ve seen some people on Reddit suggest they don’t have enough space in their RV for both a drill and an impact driver. I kinda smile and nod. I have an M12 drill and a Makita LXT drill. I opted not to bring my 7.25” circular saw; a 4” cutoff tool is enough for whatever wood working we might do. I have a shop press, which I used to repair some suspension brackets on our last trip :)

I'm jealous. Hope you enjoy the trip. If I were going to Japan I would go to Factory gear, Import Tools, Astro Products, and I would try to find some camping equipment stores and home center type stores. Also the used/thrift store scene is also interesting to me. I am also curious about visiting farm/heavy equipment dealers like Kubota. But those are all dreams right now. Long hex bits: I ordered the wiha centrofix after seeing your video. I ordered it from Tool Nut. If you go there, near the bottom of the main page, under Toolbox Essentials, you will find the Screwdrivers category. Select that then select Bit Holder Screwdrivers. From there, the Milwaukee 48-22-2322 9-In-1 Square Drive Ratcheting Multi-Bit Driver appears to have long bits like those you say are discontinued. There is also Wiha 28348 12-Piece Insulated SlimLine Blade Belt Set on page 2. Again, it looks similar to the bits you said you were looking for.

I watched another video of yours and realized that what you really wanted was the narrow, long bits. The above two are not narrow. However, I found Wera Kraftform Kompakt Metric Turbo Set, 18 Pieces on Hartville Hardware's website but for instore only. The metric and SAE version appear to have some very narrow bits. So you may want to keep an eye on Wera.

Hola Bzeug !.

OMG!!! Thank you for explaining the JIS dot on the "phillips" screw. Around 2012: I had a job (one of my first) to wall mount a flatscreen. The TV was on leg-brackets. There were these huge (like between a dime and a penny size) "phillips" screws with the dot, holding the leg brackets to the back of the TV. My large phillips kept caming out, it wouldnt grab the screw. I had to use a large pliers to slowly unscrew the "bolts" I sent pictures, and asked a ton of people, no one knew what that dot meant.

On production lines they use the pin as the socket never gets swapped as each "station" is for a specific task. Very interesting with the placement of the ball, I too always lined up the hole with the ball. Tested it and it does make the socket fit tighter. Think it goes to show that unless you really pay attention to it, it does not really matter.
