I was super hyped for this when I saw the post but the release date sucks. The 18th is a Jewish holiday and Orthodox Jews can’t use money or even a computer during the holiday.

Started today 10/19 and they have CS4 and XE6

As an early follower of the Great NutnFancy from the 00's, I have been carrying a first generation S2 since the late 00's, with no issues. Can't say much about the 2nd generation..

the S2 is the one i’ve been carrying for the last 6+ years.. desperately hoping they’ll bring it back for good.

I've been carrying a wave without a primary pocket knife for a out a year. I broke a juice after abusing it a year and a half ago. When I sent it in for service they couldn't fix or replace it, so I got the wave. Today I decided to start searching for a mini tool so that I can carry one of my many pocket knives again. Can't believe they're releasing this today!

My dad carries an xe6 I got him back in middle-school. He loves it. Supposedly they'll all be released October 18th. If so I plan to buy two of the xe6 models. One for me and one for him.

Been carrying an S2 for 17(?) years. Never had a use for a corkscrew.

Hey Ben. Great channel. Great video. I just picked up the XE6. And I have to say I’m disappointed. I think it is pocket carryable. But the Ergonomics are my major complaint. Specifically the difficulty of getting tools out and back. They use nail mix and they’re very hard on fingernails. I’m much more comfortable just using my Victorinox spirit MX clip which is longer but thinner and his nail pocket carry bowl. It also has locking tools which the juice does not. I also have a squirt which I like it off a lot more than my juice. Thanks for the great videos. Your channel is a favorite

I'm glad they did it, I think it is a very good tool, I hope the will put the Juice in regular production with a longer blade. I love my juice.

For $79.99 I picked up two xe6. Not the cs4. Crazy they would have it same price

What are your thoughts on the concept of the GOAT multi tool ? I'm excited but has been months and nothing... still in development. I just think that modularity is something we would appreciate much on a multi tool.

I never had a Juice, but always thought they looked cool. Picked up a CS4 and it's awesome. So well built and has a great form factor I wish they would keep this line or do something in the same size category, because it's so easy to toss in my back pocket and forget about it, but have some serious tools handy. I'd kinda like a bit driver and would probably prefer a file to a saw on something this size, but it's fantastic nonetheless.

There IS a bit driver on it. At least, there is on my old Juice; it's the squared-off shaft of the Phillips head that snugly fits into the bit adapter that has a square cavity at one end and the hex cavity at the other.

Thanks for the heads up, missed the Instagram story. If they don't re-release the S2 I might go for a CS4. Although, my S2 has been retired for quite a while in favor of a Victorinox Yeoman. I just didn't use the pliers often enough. If anything I'll get the CS4 and gift it to my brother who was always trying to steal my S2 haha.

Why wouldn't they put such an enormously popular design back into regular production?

Ben in pure functionality all loyalty aside if you were in an Operational mode small footprint, remote bare minimum, would you go Juice series or SOG Powerpint , IRT a small tool get you out of a jam

I bought both models when these were re-released but ended up sending them both back. Very disappointed in the quality issues of these models. Even at half price now for black Friday I would not bother with them and I'm a big Leatherman fan saying this.

The Leatherman email I got this morning said “POUR ONE OUT... for the final batch of Juice® multi-tools.” and showed a cs4 with a cork on its corkscrew and wine in the background. Combined with the instagram story it’s looking like the S2 might not be part of this final drop

I just bought the Juice XE6 from the Canadian site, $107 so I hope that I like it because that seems to be a steep price for a small multitool. Update: I do like it. I wished it had a longer blade and the pliers are very stiff but besides those 2 things it's not bad. I attached a wrist lanyard and like to slide it in the side pocket of my bib overalls with the lanyard hanging outside of the pocket for easy retrieval. The other thing that I did was strop the blade with green compound and now I can shave with it.

The blade is small, however you can take it on an airplane with you in Canada and most places other than the US

I found your video titled "The One Tool Series Leatherman Desperately Needs To Replace" to gather information on this topic. I would love to see the s2 compared to the squirt and style. Also, are the wire cutters bypass or pinch style (like the Wingman)? I hate that the Wingman wire cutters do not fully cut so the bypass style is preferred! Thanks for the heads up!

I wonder if this is ‘new’ old stock they are clearing out or if Leatherman actually made these brand new. I wish they put out more info around this decision. What does it hurt to tell us the reasoning? I agree with other folks in your comments, I wish they were putting out the juice S2. And like many folks, I’m still hoping Leatherman will have a replacement for the juice series soon. Thanks for posting this Ben. Love your videos.

I believe this is old stock...I do not believe they plan on bringing these tools back...something to do with the springs popping out on some models...too bad...

I know the cs4 is coming back, it has all of the some tools and adds a corkscrew, awl, and saw in one more row.

The skissors on my two S2s broke with hardly any use. By the time I got round to sending one of them back they had been discontinued. I was offered a Wingman as a replacement (in the UK). Long story short, the scissors are a bit rubbish and don't count on a warranty repair in the future

My point was that if you ordered any of these end of stock Juices, Leatherman don't repair them and you will be offered something else if it breaks. The point about the scissors is moot because Leatherman didn't offer any scissor equipped Juices in the end. That's my only response to you. Keep chuckling

You do realise they are probably going to cost upwards of a hundred quid here? More than you'd pay for a Swisstool Spirit? I've just ordered a Knipex Cobra which I'm going to carry with various SAKs, much better quality tools on every level and less expensive. But it will be a few weeks before they are listed here.

@@ComUnSas I have the Farmer X with more or less the same functions (I can live without corkscrew and hook). Or for urban carry where I'm unlikely to need a saw I'll pair it up with my Climber which has black plus scales and pocket clip. The Ranger would work well with it too so you then get the full range of tools except for a 3D Phillips but even expensive Leatherman Free P series models only have a 2D Phillips.

No S2... Thats a Big giant Pass. The XE6 is a brick and at 6oz plus and no clip you might as well carry the far superior Victorinox Spirit X.. Leatherman bringing back the worst selling Juice models with the cork screws.. The same ones no one was originally interested in, and intentionally leave out their best selling and most popular Juice model of all time, the S2

Corkscrew. Meh. 😒

Juice is expensive piece of shit compared to LEAP. They are not one hand operable, no locking tools. Many tools needs open the whole thing to access. Jaws are twice smaller and weaker than Leap’s. Weight and size are similar. Juices are not TSA compliant. They are more elegant but everything is worse than Leap’s. In fact, from LM only Free beats Leap but in no way it is the same price category. Frees are totally overpriced, not worth even half of it.
