Twelve minutes and thirty eight seconds of watching Bruce carve freehand on a piece of scrap leather a design nicer than I will carve on any of my nicest projects! Thank you Bruce for the subtle instruction and constant inspiration to get better at this craft.

The amount of jealousy I have from watching you freehand floral and scrolls that would have taken me an hour to draw out is unreal. Amazing work! Subscribed!

Absolutely amazing how effortlessly you're able to freehand this pattern! It's really nice watching a master of his trade creating a work of art. I love how you explain things in other videos but this one with no talking really worked for me too! I could watch and really concentrate on what you were doing. Well done!

Wonderful! Your ability to do this kind of carving free hand, is as impressive as your skill with the swivel knife, itself. The result needs no beveling, shading, bargrounding etc… it’s truly beautiful, as is!!

I noticed you don’t have any ceramic blades. Is this a preference or is there reason you don’t use the ceramics?

Bruce that SK looks great! Is it one you made? Can they be purchased? Talk to me Bruce!!! Haha Is it heavy and or do you happen to know the weight by chance? I really do like it and would like to see it in a “better” light. Great free style practice my friend keep it all coming. We are learning from you and you are an amazing teacher.
