Thank You have a Great Day!
Impressive 😊
Thank You!
Just curious why RG-60? For that being clean pin steel, why not use 70s-2 probably much better results that way. Cleaner, and a lot more solid. Just food for thought. PS: I've probably answered my own question to you, being probably on a farm rg60 and 45 is more than likely laying all around the shop for oxygen acetylene welding. 70s-6 and 70s-2 are essentially their equivalents more or less for TIG, the rod is supercheap. I think you'll like it a lot more.
I really appreciate the advice I will try to pick 70s-2 up tomorrow at my local welding supply. As I remember I asked them at the welding supply years ago what filler rod do I need and they said RG-60. Thank You!
Thanks for watching this video clip in the bit and spur making shop. Bruce and Landon
Where is it now? I was told Sam Rose, Matlock's got all of his tack, but now Sam is gone also. Just curious
The last account I had of this saddle it was in Louisiana and pretty much used up.
One of the most helpful and useful videos I've found and I think making a sheath like this is much more useful than what I see other doing
Awesome, thank you!
Thank you, sir.
You're welcome
They're handy as a pocket on a shirt.
Yes! Thanks
Merci Bruce !
Yes! Thanks
Looks like she's gonna work just fine.
Yes! Thanks
Mr. Cheaney, your eye to brain to hand coordination, is simply amazing, it seems like you are more of a machine, than man at times, but, I do appreciate you showing the booboos and how to fix them. It gives us rookies a feeling, that we may have a chance to aspire to your level someday. As always, great video, keep them coming. Thank you
Stay with it never give up!

Art, my friend, just plain art masking as a function.

I think it's really cool Bruce, that you are using the same tools your dad used. It's living proof that good tools well cared for can be around for multiple generations.
Thank for your comment!
Those tools looked similar to my jr high shop class about 1966. No telling how old they really go back. A kid with a barrel knife can oops real easy and cut clean through the project.
Yes you are right! Thanks for commenting.
Muchas gracias 👍

What type of leather is that or where can I get it??? Is it a Latigo just a different color than burgundy?
4/6 oz. Burgundy Alum Tanned Leather from American Leather Direct.
I think you should be using the ball part of the hammer to spread out the stump instead of the flat side.
Thanks for the advice I will try that.
that coller is fire
