"insert comment about tandem skydiving experience"
March 2022, Jurien Bay AFF. Bring it on!!!
I was terrified of heights. One of the reasons is probably because I always lived on the ground floor. One day I decided to go for skydiving and for my first jump I chose the AFF course instead of a tandem jump. Can you imagine what it felt like when they opened the door I had to jump out with my own parachute? When I landed I had to throw up but afterwards I felt like a superman! Now I skydive every weekend.
I'm scared of heights and afraid of flying. I've been suffering from depression for the past 8 years. I did a tandem jump on a hot August day, a few weeks ago. I was terrified but I had to do it. It was the most fantastic experience.... beyond good. It's impossible to imagine what it is like. I should have done it years ago. I'm doing it again this September weekend with my two sons. I'm considering taking the AFF course.

@@lordhamdoun5375 Hi Hamada, prices vary. It cost £250 (UK stirling), which was cheap. Most charged more and some charged much, much more. Good luck!

@@allocke9446 Thanks Al. Did it again in September 2019 and it was a totally different experience. Still fantastic though. I'm 64 and too old for most of the world to train except Germany. I was planning to do the AFF course in April 2020 but the pandemic prevented that. So I'm doing fitness and strength training for April 2021. I'll see what happens.
Did my first tandem about a year ago. Followed by two more within 6 months. Started AFF. Have three more jumps to get my 25. Just arranged to purchase my first rig! Amazing year I’ve had!

Any advice for someone who’s about to start the AFF course?

@@birdman007 yes- if you can go to wind tunnel so it will help you be more confident and safe in the sky, its money well spent.

I now have 212 jumps, B license (soon C), best advice I can give is the sooner you stop thinking of falling and more of changing “stance” into flying your body right at exit the easier it is to learn. But yeah tunnel definitely helps learn the flying part, wrapping your head around the transition of standing to flying is tricky at first
Thank you for doing this!
Because you know what the sport of skydiving needs? More excitement!! 😂
Thank you for this video!
Great job, Amy👍!
Excellent
one funny note, when doing solo under radio guidance the instructor kept saying turn left turn left, so I kept turning left but I noticed I was headed right towards the hangar, all of a sudden he said no kevin turn right not left the he called the other student and said you turn left. when on the ground I told him you probibly should have started out with our names first when there are 2 students , we had a great laugh and a beer after
Is amazing

The best
on my first tandem I was in the plane trying to tell the tandem jumper I was not doing this, but out we went and that was 98 jump ago. I signed up for my AFF course and was hooked, I had my freedom jump (last instruction jump) getting my license the same day I had my first cut away, I had a hard opening and the top 3 cells ripped open, my training took over and I cutaway into a perfect reserve, my health is the only reason I stopped jumping, (total knee replacement) I wish to continue some day or im going on an ash dive at the very least. BlueSkys everyone
Excelente trabajo, buenos profesionales
Very professional trainer
Did my first jump Aug 28 2016, loved it so much came back the very next week and jumped with one of my best mates. Saving up for my AFF course, I'm going hard.

When that door opened on my tandem I didn't want to jump either. We were right next to the door and before I knew it we were out. However, if I had more time I probably would've rode back down too. Man I am soooo glad I jumped! Now I wanna do a aff course.
Wooooooooow!!!
Me encanta
Australian Skydive Channel, I really liked this video and already got a like. I'm doing research on people who like skydiving. If you can answer me, thank you very much. What makes people want to parachute? Do you need courage when parachuting? What emotions does a person need to parachute? What does the person feel at the end of the day (tiredness, fatigue, pain)? Thank you!

It's ok if you get scared and ride the plane back down. That is just good judgement because you will live to jump another day. Listen to your gut. I rode the plane down once during AFF training because things just did not seem right. i went on to graduate AFF level 7,
