Learning Swedish in 7 Days

Part 2 (30 days): • Learning Swedish in 30...
In the spirit of connecting with the roots of my own name and inspired by Nathaniel Drew´s Italian language challenge, I embark on an exciting journey to learn as much Swedish as possible in 7 days, as part of a 30 day challenge to learn Swedish.
I go over different language learning methods that I used (how to learn Swedish in general) and document the language learning process along the way.
My hope is that by watching this, seeing the mistakes and limited, but still significant results achieved after 7 days, this can motivate you to take those steps yourself to learn a new language.
Thanks for watching. I appreciate you.
Sven.

I am the only Katie and the only being reflecting pure animaIs like birds / crows and the only Vee and the only Empress and the only beautiful being etc, while my pure protectors aka the alphas are the only beings reflecting big terms like emperor / lord / king etc - all humnz are the exact opposite of big terms / special names / compIiments etc, and such terms / names cannot be misused by humnz, and must be edited out / changed!

By the way... The word sven means guy / man in Swedish (similar to the word swain in OId English) and only men that are pure / virgin by choice (such as my pure protectors aka the alphas) reflect words like man / guy / boy / swain / lad / sven etc, while I am the only being reflecting pretty-sounding terms like kvinna / quean and girl(s) / maiden(s) / chick(s) etc and big terms like dam / dame / damsel or Lady / Ladies etc... So one should never use the words dam and kvinna (Swedish terms) or kvinne (Norwegian term) or other similar terms to refer to womyn...

Swedish is not that hard to learn, it has a lot of similarity with English and German (Swedish is North Germanic branch of the Germanic languages) so as someone who speaks English and German I believe you can learn it very quickly. Also an interesting fact, Swedish is also one of the official languages in Finland. :)

Swedish is not easy but not difficult to learn , only try, read more, write more, watch films some on swedish more but if you are new in sweden and if you go to school or university , swedish look likes so difficult with subjects . So swedish is not easy to learn , grammatic is difficult , subjects to, but you can do it if you try more .

Ppl worry about grammar or pronunciation. Do not worry about that, just try to talk and ppl will understand you. But I can´t understand why ppl want to learn Swedish, if you don´t want to move here, so small country. And IF you move here, everyone will understand english. And being with ppl talking the language you want to learn, you will soon be a native.

Your name is an Norse name in origin. Didn't you know smörgåsbord (even though the English version is just the metaphor)? While I love people learning Swedish and helping them with it, Norwegian would be more useful unless you're very focused on Sweden. It's possible to say "jag fick jobba i England" as opposed to "jag fick ett jobb i England". And your "en", which is supposed to be "ett" in this case, could be heard as a "um/eeh". More accurately, släkt means relatives. But of course they can be synonyms. You did very well for just a week, damn.

Did you know that Sweden was more of an trading part of the North and that it was Norway and Denmark that was raiding other country. Edit: i'm from Sweden btw and i think it's hilarious to hear people try Swedish.

That's not true though, acording to the archelogical evidence. We even have 30 Runestones that are called "Englandsstenarna", which describes the raids to England. Adam of Bremen also said that Swedes had mighty fleets, and many wives. It's true though that some of the most important scandinavian cities was in Sweden. From Uppåkra to Uppsala and Birka. As well as Gotland. The pireus lion in Greece, is also one of few Runestone carvings down there, which was made by Swedish warriors from Roslagen.

For rudimentary language skills and some common basis, definitely agreed. To become proficient is another story tho, especially with the pronunciation difficulties, but it does help to have a more accessible start so to speak. Is Yiddish considered difficult?
