if you visit Borobudur, and want to grasp its spirituality symbols, you may go to the museum. There, you can learn deeper about the meaning of symbols and stories you find on the structure. Borobudur is built for spiritual pilgrimage, not just for tourism. Yes it is magnificent structurally, and tourists can appreciate that. However, as a pilgrimage object, it has other "hidden" charisma. It is also built as a "mount", a local indonesian value that put mountain as spiritual object.

This is the borobudur in the 1990's. Very amazing temple and beautiful scenery around it.

This is one of the best Buddhist monuments in Indonesia. Borobudor is significant in cultural, historcal and spiritual value. I appreciate your quality in this presentation. Well-done!

I have been there once and such a waste that I didn't realise the meaning of those relief and carvings. Going there, taking pictures and enjoying the surronding scene was just a stupid thing that I have ever done. I will definitely go back and pay homage with deep devotion again.

If you enjoyed it, it was not a waste... Many people believe that a great teaching monument like the Borobudur teaches you, even sub-consciously, when you are present. It is at least thought to consider! And your awareness now, after watching this film, is so much deeper!
