This is the story of Sudhana and the kinnari Manohara. It is taken from the text named Vidyavadana (Divine Stories). The complete reliefs of the story are carved on the main wall of the first gallery (lower register) of Borobudur temple. The lower register contains the Avadanas or Heroic Deeds.
