I am at this place in my life where everything feels like it is closing in. I have made big mistakes lately and dishonored God and my family. Listening to Rick gives me hope that God can redeem me. God bless you Pastor Rick.

+nicinacnoo I haven't watch the video yet (will do so later on) but to answer your question, it's hard to trust someone because it makes us vulnerable and prone to getting hurt. I've been hurt by people who I thought really loved me and that's why I have trust issues now.

+nicinacnoo Thank you so much. That's true. I'm actually in a much worse situation than before but I'm happier because my mindset has changed. Of course I still struggle and some days, I feel like giving up but I keep going because I have so much to live for now. :)

Where two or more are gathered I believe we must turn it over to God. I've tried it my way and it didn't do anything but drive me crazy. Faith in God is the only way. Trust the word and God. Lord give me the strength to trust you completely. Amen

I have been a Christian for over 15 years and have been very active in my church or serving in other ways. Over a year and a half ago, I made a huge mistake and took a job in another city. Since then I have been financially devastated, have been way past overwhelmed at work (doing the job of 4 people) in a very stressful job field, have had numerous family problems, serious illnesses, suffered poor health. Every time that I feel like I am going to make it through and turn a corner, I get hit down by multiple things worse than the last. I have not time to serve or participate in church and feel like I am sleep walking through life at best. It seems like this trial will not end, and I desperately need rest. I know that God is there and in control, but it seems like he has been silent for almost 2 years. I am not going to lie, my faith is weak right now. Interestingly, I just read this passage recently. Maybe I have some figurative wooden images or alters in my life that I need to destroy like Jehoshaphat did in Judah.

Okay, I'm just listening to this message, it says 6 years ago, but in this message there's one thing he said that got me, he said you will need this for 2020! Well we all know how 2020 was the hardest year!.

Father God, thank you for learning me to fully trust in you, to know you have my back fighting my battles and being willing to give me the victory. Lord, I have so many things to do for my studies and work, but I give every feeling of being overwhelmed to you, binding to hell for myself, but also my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents and the body of Christ every feeling of being overwhelmed with one's workload while binding one to have a good plan to stick with to bring all good work to a good end in God his timing, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone feeling overwhelmed by the workload one has to carry while lacking to have a plan to stick with to bring the good work to a good end in God his timing, in accordance with this word and 2 chronicles 20:1-30, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah, glory to God ❤! I've listened to this more than a few times afyer leaving abusive husband while my teen had run away from home while I dealt with breast cancer when we had to move to a new town when I lost my jobs and income all of this through the pandemic and now while I need miracles for debts and taxes and daily needs as well as healing from depression and anxiety trying to rebuild. every time I need it i search "god im overwhelmed" i find it and it blesses me more and more. God brought my teen home safely and we love eachother more than ever. He healed me from the cancer. He brought us to a great safe home in a beautiful area and a great new church with kind people. He is bringing me new clients and skills. He had shown me this week that i need medication for depression and thats NOT a sin. Because of all this and His everlasting promises I believe His supernatural restoration and order is coming to my mind/emotions and finsnces too. its going to take more of HIS power and grace to do it. Thank You Father. Amen Amen Amen

This is a great sermon and I love the story of Jehoshaphat. How great is our God who is with us always. I have a question. How does someone in captivity let God do the battle for him if he is facing a brutal death? How does he not be afraid?

Read the story of Apostle Paul in the book of acts. He answers that question exactly as he was in a roman prison facing trial and capital punishment.
