Dear Elena, I desired a leader and godly man. I used the Bible to affirm what God wanted in my marriage. I justified my divorce and pointed to scripture. But about 4 years after my divorce, I asked God why couldn't I focus on serving him and not the faults of my husband. Another prayer was to understand "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge" and I asked God to show me what that meant. One day I heard Living Waters "good person" test. I saw myself on Judgement Day before a holy God without Jesus because I came to Jesus for the wrong reasons. I loved how Jesus made me feel and look and I knew the scriptures were true. But that is not saving faith; we all deserve hell. Jesus came to make us righteous before a holy God and unless we come through repentance and trusting Jesus we do not have salvation. I fell before God pleading with him to forgive me because I could not see; I didn't see. I was blinded. My mind flooded with all my sins throughout my life: my divorce, anger, slander, dishonoring parents, etc.. They were sins against God alone, not man. As each one passed through my mind I begged God to forgive me. I was bowing in tears and crying out to God; then I saw precious Jesus - He did that for me!!! I was so grateful and I esteem the sacrifice. I tell you this because I understood after my divorce that I was in my will when I was married; I was never in God's will because I was never born again until this event happened where I repented before God and turned to Jesus. Get out of Saddleback Church - it is a false gospel. Jesus came to make you holy before a holy God. God can not be near sin. Warren is preaching a watered down Gospel. Read the Bible everyday and follow Jesus!!

I’m only concerned about being remarkable to my family. I could not care less about anyone else. I am not putting in extra hours at a job when I can spend those precious hours with people I love.

So fitting you would talk about remarkable people this weekend. one of the people that, right off the bat stands out in my mind is Jon Schnepp who passed away suddenly this weekend. He was truly a remarkable person and covers all of the above, talent, personality, achievement, and was unusual. He had a gift to be larger than life but also be one of us at the same time and could put you at ease in any situation. This weekend also happened to be comic-con and it was his kingdom and was strangely fitting to have all of his friends and family all in one place, the love was felt. It was like going sailing without your captain, or going to church without your paster, while sombre, we were all together.

It’s never too late to have this impact on peoples lifes - It’s God’s will. Let us be tools in the vineyard in the hands of our master Jesus. Pray with me 🙏 May we bring forth the fruit of the Spirit 🍇🍇🍇🍇🍇 Amen!
