@@artyomsherwin648 Laugh tracks are quite necessary for shows like this, big bang theory, and others like them. Without the laugh track, you probably wouldn't get the jokes, or perhaps you wouldn't find them funny. The laugh track triggers a conformation response for most people, so they will laugh along with the track. You may have had times where you laughed your ass off at something with your friends, but looking back, the source of the humour barely even made you smile. That is because "laughter is contagious". Sometimes even without realising it, simply hearing the track might subconsciously make you remember that moment as a funny one, regardless of whether you laughed along with it. Your memories will remember it being funnier than it actually was. It's a pretty sneaky move, and people have become increasingly aware of it and are put off by it. That's why it's not that common anymore.

That idea makes me doubly amused because Lord Glover was played by Tim McInnerny, the same actor who portrayed Percy in the first and second seasons of Blackadder, Lord Topper in the third season, Captain Darling in the fourth season, and various Darlings in Back and Forth (including one who gets to be at the initial dinner party, which can be seen as a gathering of the most essential Blackadder actors through all the series). For certain Lord Edmand Blackadder, Warden of the North by Northwest, would need to tell Lord Glover, "Hello, Darling." In all seriousness, this is an excellent idea for a Red Nose Day thing. Atkinson has already taken on Dr. Who, so why not Game of Thrones?

Comedy evolves and so does society. We agree on that, right? I'm assuming you don't lament the passing of black face as a comedy art. It's rare that comedy becomes timeless and classic. Black Adder is timeless and classic. There's nothing in there that is stale. So, there's no reason BBC wouldn't make something similar today.
