A return to 'must see' Sunday evening viewing! It's lovely to watch Anna's obvious joy in the fabric she's chosen, and it will be a privilege to watch her quilting journey.

Why is it that these kind of videos always are too short??!! So lovely to see how Anna also got hooked to fabrics (stroking it lovingly) and making something beautiful out of it, while you are there to help if necessary. I can watch these kind of things for hours!❤❤❤

Yes, it is magical with them together working. I had dreamed of doing such with my daughters. But their interests are elsewhere and I am very proud of them. I am not able to quilt as I used to. Perhaps in another year my health will allow that. I decided to give my Bernina 1630 to a friend. She mostly knits. But with a young family has the occasional need to sew. Her machine was not very dependable. She has started a knitting business. She has fallen in with the 1630. She is learning sewing in leaps and bounds. She has designed products for knitters such as project bags. She will get an idea and think about how to do it. Then she calls me to see if the method is the best one. Often then she will come to my house for a lesson. She wants me to teach her all my crafts now. We both realize some of this knowledge is for future years when I am not here anymore. It is giving me great joy to share the crafts I've always loved.

Anna you are truly blessed to have Kate as your mum in law! She’s a one of a kind and a heart that loves. I’d had given anything to have one like her and I’ll say I’m envious of you in a very good way. Listen to her and learn as those are things that cannot be purchased as well as the love she has. Hello, this is Valery that you mentioned just a minute or two ago while I was listening and I am the very fortunate recipient of the quilt you were talking about that you made as an example block for Anna‘s quilt. I am still enjoying the quilt and healing under it, again I think you. By the way Spoonflower is one of my most favorite places to get fabric when I can afford it. I did manage to have some of my mum’s recipes printed by Spoonflower as linen tea towels for my adult children for Christmas. Love to everyone on the lime green sofa!

Opening new fabric is thrilling and Anna obviously has caught the “bug”! I’ve almost been holding my breath waiting on this episode and sure enough, it was as exciting as I anticipated. I’m a pink-and-green person but these oranges and teals are lovely! Well done, Anna! Can’t wait for the next one!

I have a Spoonflower story. I've been making graduation quilts for nieces and nephews. One niece is a photographer. I asked her for some of her nature photos, that I wasn't interested in photos of people. She sent me some very nice nature pictures and one of her sister sitting on a wall with angel wings. It was to commemorate the sister's friend who had passed. I decided to use that one and had Spoonflower print fabrics for me and I made the quilt. On the day of the graduate's party, that sister was killed in an auto accident. I felt there was a reason I used that photo.

How lovely that you have Spoonflower followers, they must have been forewarned in your previous video that Anna loved their fabrics. Really great to see you both this evening.

I buy a lot from spoonflower. Sure beats ugly Liberty fabric! 😆. But spoonflower is crazy money 🤑. Anna has champagne taste.

Love the fabric! ❤ I have used Spoonflower to make fabric using handwitten recipes of my children’s grandmothers and my recipes to make tea towels for my family. It is a lovely way to remember loved ones! Spoonflower makes it possible.

Kate & Anna, thank you! I have been watching you for the last few weeks while I do hand stitching. Like you Kate I love EPP and currently working on Tula Nova. I also bake, crochet, cross stitch and machine quilt. I began to quilt in August 2022 and this past Christmas all my loved ones were gifted quilts and when I gifted them told my loved ones to know that when they cuddle with their quilt they are receiving a hug from me. I worked with Spoonflower fabrics on a baby quilt I made for my niece. It does have such an amazingly different feel to it. I was a bit worried too but it sewed up beautifully and washed just fine. I wholeheartedly recommend their fabric. Lucky Anna!

My absolutely favorite people sharing their quilting journeys. Anna has truly become a Fabric Fondler! Quilters see colors, designs, textures, and potentials in the fabrics they choose. Reminds me of foodies who smile as they choose ingredients for colors, freshness, flavors, and combinations. Many years ago I purchased some beautiful hand dyed fabrics from Mickey Lawler of Sky Dyes and just fondled it from time to time. I met her at a quilt show and she said basically to stop hoarding and cut it, that it was meant to be used. I think of her when I see Kate cutting into her indigo hand dyes, and using even the tiniest scraps of Liberty and Kaffe fabrics. A tremendous Thank you to Spoonflower's ambassadors on the sofa! Kate's lime green sofa community is a beautiful world wide network of caring and sharing people. Kate and Anna seem very much like best friends and even sisters at times. It's a beautiful relationship indeed. I look forward to the next installment.

It is gonna certainly be an adventure! I feel the serenity in the room, so peaceful. It is what women miss from when we were gatherers sitting around the campfire with all the women. It is in our DNA to be like this but we do not take the time as it doesnt work in our lifestyle. Thank for gathering us.

What a surprise! I did not expect to see those lovely, bright colors for Anna's quilt. I wouldn't mind having a few of those prints myself - not that I need any more fabric! I hope Cat Rita was allowed some quality time in the box the fabric was delivered in. 😉

Anna and Kate, I have to tell you a funny story. I was watching this video and you talking about Spoonflower. Got me thinking I didn't remember my sister opening her Christmas present I got her from Spoonflower. Turns out she hadn't opened it because I forgot to give it to her. So, she has it now, thank you so much. I can't wait to see your quilt.
