The Foo’s didn’t even mention this show in their tour rider press release. They just showed up with their shit tons of gear, played for 2 1/2 hours, thanked them all and split. They were only there for Cesena and didn’t capitalize on it.

Four Years on, when the Foo Fighters actually showed up to thank Rockin1000 - still one of the greatest moments in Rock and Roll. Thank you to the wonderfully beautiful (and crazy) Italians who made this happen.

I'm not even a Foo Fighters fan but god damn it I'm crying. Why can't all humans be like this? From Fabio to fucking Dave and everyone involved, thank you a great gift for humanity.

This is always going to be one of the greatest and most beautiful moments in Rock and Roll, because of the Foo Fighters and because of Fabio and the Rockin 1000......

This is so inspirational and amazing. The original rocker1000 video is so profoundly powerful and to see this is so cool. People coming together to have fun and do art together is the essence of humanity. I love it! Thank you!

Me too. I saw the 1000 video and then searched for "foos at cesena." I knew they'd go. Pack of righteous! I love these boys.

An amazing show, but he's fighting his voice the whole way through this song. He's just forcing through it at 3:16

This was 2015-ish and there were hardly any smartphones in the Cesena audience. These folks love Foo Fighters they'd live up the moment in its purest sense.

This is the proof that dreams com true! Come on Italy! Fight back! Hope to be there this summer!

I heard about this story a couple of days ago in the radio and I have to say thank you to Fabio Zaffagnini to bring people together and to David Grohl and the Foo Fighters for they responds...thats the way how we could stay this world together...

You can tell Dave is so excited he can’t even sing in perfect tune. The energy in that building is amazing.

"That's the reason we're here! We're gonna play all fuckin' night for you!"

I agree, because they were a chorus. Definitely the most bad ass fan video ever, but Dave killed it later in the concert. It sounds like he was out of breath while playing this. Maybe excitement, maybe from having to sit and sing a rock song.

Yeah, it's actually really tough to sing sitting down. Lots of compression on your diaphragm.

Sorry Dave, someone who sings (at least at this gig) like an empty plastic bag should stop bullying Nickelback. To me it seems that Chad whips your ass anytime and anywhere!! No matter how much I love the Rockin 1000 and your response to it and playing a gig for these guys in Cesena but you better should rethink what you said about Nickelback.

At least they are not a girlie band as FF!! Look at the Rocking 1000, 90% girlies singing there. Grohl might have been a bad MF while he was with Nirvana, with the FF he became a wuss. Nickelback blows your ears up and what makes them even more likeable, they don´t brag about it or badmouth any other band(s). Poor FF, knowing you are past the young turk stage is hard!!
