True! I watch this video on a regular basis. It really lifts you up! :) So wholesome!

I was there playing between the thousand and it was an incredible experience. Initially it seemed impossible to play along in time all together but damn if we succeded! And the concert of the Foos in Cesena was epic, a party of joy and music and unity. Every musician should play with a thousand others once in a lifetime, it makes you feel what music and playing is all about: pure joy. Sorry for my poor english.

You were all so awesome I keep 👀 watching it and it brings me joy as I quarantine I have only left my house 42 times since March 14th 2020 when the pandemic ruled everything and I know Italy got hit really bad I was on disability to have surgery on both feet and I am an RN BSN hospice nurse and I chose to stay on disability instead of going back to work in the middle of the pandemic I cared for my only grandson who just turned 7 and he loves that video and the Foo Fighters thank you so much truly for putting that out for the world to see it is still just amazing best wishes to you and yours now and always peace and love always from Iowa USA where music has meant everything to me while quarantining thanks again truly

Your English is is better than mine and I know I could never learn to speak Italian I think it is so cool that you got to do that and write about it and you so deserve that the Foo Fighters to come and give you a thank-you concert and Dave Grohl was just blown away that that was done and I was listening I'm watching his comments and a gentleman from Belgium answered me because I wanted to know did they come and play for you guys and I'm in the middle of the USA and it just goes to show what Dave Grohl is saying that you know music can connect people everywhere do you mind if I ask you what instrument you're playing cuz it is one of the most amazing musical event I have ever seen thanks again truly deb from Iowa USA peace love and music always

I think anybody that plays cries when they see this. It’s very emotional understanding that 1000 people harmonized 3 instruments and a microphone to make one of the most amazing covers ever.

He says it kind of took my breath away....I was in that same moment. I was stunned, then my emotions took over. My wife noticed that I had teared up, I didn't. I was singing, air-drumming. The next day I got out my 89 Les Paul and jammed on the front porch!

It was emotional for me, and I'm just a average guy who does spend a lot of time watching these kinds of things.

Made me cry

I just discovered this today and I’m still stunned, to say the least. I’m a drummer and seeing all of them playing in sync has brought me to tears and I’m loving every minute of it. In a world of hate, it’s awesome to see love like this

I am moved every time I see this video, not only for the fantastic initiative that the guys of rocking 1000 had, but above all for the humility that Dave and the guys had, to accept the invitation! Dave is a musical genius but he still has a clean soul! Thank you foo fighters and Taylor we miss you so much !

I cannot put into words what that specific Rockin’ 1000’s video made for me in my life. The impact it had and all of the emotions that it made me feel every single time I watched it and every feeling that resulted from watching that video, digging into FooFighters, digging into lyrics, starting to attempt concerts, giving a shot at music, rethinking life through those lyrics, AND EVEN MORE stuff that resulted from that one video (which was a result from the FooFighters themselves) changed my entire life and I’ not kidding. And here I am, 30 days away from watching them live for the first time in my life here in Monterrey, Mexico. During the “worst” time of life (pandemic), in a time where I thought they would stop giving concerts before I could even afford traveling to see them perform. FF and Rockin’1000 have brought once again joy into my life in times where joy seems hard to find. See y’all in 30 days🤘🏻

For those of you who don't know, Dave had broken is frikkin' leg in a previous gig and had to cancel shows on the tour at the time. But he and the Foos by-God showed up to Cesena and did their level best to send the crowd into orbit, walking cast and all

Dave...so humble and sweet.

All one thousand of these musicians should be collectively inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This so wonderfully captures the connection music brings us. Brought me to tears. What a fantastic testament to the power of music to bring us together.

This will never get old and will always be a part of Rock and roll history 🖤🤍🤎

Non mi considero particolarmente un fan dei FF ma sono molto triste. Taylor era una forza della natura, bello, talentuoso, generoso e, probabilmente anche fragile. Insomma, un uomo.

I’ve faced similar crap, but our government proved that they cared about us and made it a lot easier than I’ve seen in other countries, in Australia thanks to that we’ve suffered a lot less

I thought of this when doc Watson died. I said well he’s up there with his son merle and all the other musicians (not just the bluegrass ones) that have gone, and he will see his sons face for the first time. As hard as it is for us to miss them here, it won’t be the last time we see them. Edit wasn’t sure if I could write this. I had to stay at my parents for the last year because my dad was really sick. We got in the car on one of the many trips to the hospital and I said ok we gotta find some common ground on the music situation. So I made a playlist of doc Watson singing gospel songs with all different musicians, and that’s what we’d listen to. I’d say “pick it merle” (because doc used to cue everyone for their solo parts) and we’d laugh and laugh, and sing the whole way there and back. Which is why next Saturday at my dads memorial I’m going to play doc doing peace in the valley. He really loved that one. He loved them all really. And I think maybe he’ll be sitting with doc listening. 💕
