Learn to Breathe Correctly: Why belly breathing is the key to health

Learn to Breathe Correctly: Why belly breathing is the key to health
Learn about the components of the breath and how it affects the mind and the body. Allison breaks down the muscles used for proper breathing; which results in improved oxygenation, digestion, and stress reduction. In addition, she provides easy techniques to remedy health ailments through the breath. This information is of paramount importance because most people are breathing improperly and as a result, their health is suffering.
Short, shallow chest breathing results in:
- neck and shoulder tension
- reduced oxygen in the body
- digestive ailments
- anxiety
- stress
- increased heart rate
- high blood pressure
By learning to breathe into the belly instead of the chest, we can remedy all of these ailments.
THIS INFORMATION WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
Stay tuned for detailed breath practices with Allison and Katie to reduce stress and create a calm, clear mind!

    If you breathing is shallow, the speed of your thought will increase because of the low level anxiety associated. It will be hard to step back and separate yourself from those thoughts when they are sped up.

    Oooh ok. So when someone says abdominal breathing than it means to breathe with the lower part of the lungs and of coarse the diaphragm. Why do they call it abdominal? that region doesn't cover the lungs.. its thoracic region ?.?

  • @dashachess4204

    @dashachess4204

    6 жыл бұрын

    I breathe diaphragmatically, my whole abdomen extends crazy with every inhale I take. Never would've guest that its the extension of the diaphragm! Diaphragm separates thoracic and abdominopelvic cavity, so I wonder how they connect? Their relationship towards the movement of air? I can't find a good picture or a video on the subject (except the movement of the lungs by themselves). You're very helpful! However, I do believe chest is the pectoral region.
