    Hey Polo 👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾. This video is soooo right on time! I thought lawns mainly get heat stressed in July. Not so! Hooking up my sprinkler today. Thanks for sharing your expertise!

    Struggling with my lawn at the moment! We had 6 weeks of heavy rain, straight into a severe heat wave! I'm dealing with overwatering AND heat stress issues at the same time 😅

    That heat should be drying the lawn out. The soil should have an adequate amount of water if you've been getting heavy rains. I would have a fungicide down because the nights are staying warmer for fungus to develop. Our nights are in the upper 70s and lower 80s right now, and I'm seeing a lot of dollar spot in lawns

    This video saved to the Master Lawn care playlist. Thank you, for dropping the knowledge. Waiting on some rain so I can apply some Hydretain liquid to water in. Received 1/2 inch of rain 8 days ago and watered twice, to get the 1 inch of water needed for my TTF cutting at 4" inches, struggling.

    Polo good information. We hardly receives any rain this year and my Lawn was sod last year in summer time. I have major part of lawn heat stress. How should I begin now? You trick to water the spot for 2 minutes and it actually worked. Please advise. Do I need to water daily. I have a very big lawn

    Hello Syeda, if you have a small spot that is heat stressed like I did on my Test Plot, you can water it aggressively like how I did to bounce it back. If the heat stress is throughout your lawn, follow the tips in the video where I talked about how to bounce your lawn back from heat stress. Those watering tips will help you out. Hope this helps 🙏🏾

    This is really helpful, thank you! If I placed down fungicide in my lawn but it is actually heat stress, what might happen to the grass?

  • @PoloFieldsLawnService

    @PoloFieldsLawnService

    Жыл бұрын

    If you're putting down a fungicide like Propiconizole in the heat, it can stress it out even more. Because Propiconizole runs hot when the Temps go up. Propiconizole has similarities close to a growth regulator where it would slow the grass down a little bit. When it's hot outside, the heat will slow the grass down on its own. Now, imagine if you throw Propiconizole down on it? Your grass will be stunted a little bit. When your lawn is brown because it's stressed out, you want to give it some water so that it can grow right. If you have something like Propiconizole on it, it won't grow out as quickly as it should. Long answer, but I hope this helps
