    I’m trying to learn Czech for my dear friend he’s a treasure to be around and he literally cracks me up so much because he’ll tell me a saying or phrase from his land that doesn’t translate that well to English (it just doesn’t make sense but he’s doing his best and that’s what counts).     you're more than a good teacher I was an EFL teacher in Brussels (who had to hire teachers) but you would be wasted in teaching and I'm sure you're doing something else - like acting or news reporting. Slán.

    When I was learning Czech, I always pronounced certain sounds differently, Ahoj became Ahozh, Dekuji became Dekuzhay. Prosim became Prusheem.

    Starting to learn the language since i met somebody from the czech republic there only is a language barriër between us since she does not speak dutch and also does hardly speak any english. So yeah thanks for this video!

    Every year I went with my parents to the Krkonoše. For example Harrachov, Trutnov and Pec pod Sněžkou. When we get back down hungry we hoped to eat knedlíki in the restaurant. But once everything were already closed. For not coming too close did the owners invent a trick: hanging boards with the text 'pozor, pes!' Now we laugh about it, but during that moment we were not happy with that.
