𝐇𝐢 𝐠𝐮𝐲𝐬, this video is all about some tips and tricks I often used in my stainless steel welding.
In my past, I built a lot of stainless steel projects with a stick welder and as time pasts it teaches a lot and this video is all about those things. There are only two ways to do good welding on stainless steel. One is either getting a tig welding machine and do it inexpensively ways or the second is improving your skills to ease the welding work. There is one more method in which you can convert your regular stick welding machine into a tig welding machine just with few basic things and this trick is definitely effective. Definitely, there is some amount of argon gas wasted but I think If you have builds with thin sheets over some area then this tip will help you a lot.

If you bought a product and ever have doubted that what grade it has then you should definitely need to know this. There is a grade tester chemical available in the market which is called grade tester, just simply pour it onto the workpiece and if it contains more iron content then it changes to red color and it belongs to 202 grade.

Welding thin sheets is a bit more tricky and one good method I found and learn from pother welder is by changing the polarity of the holder and the earthing clamp. Definitely recommend you try out this strategy.

Sometimes during welding there are hard-to-reach areas where it's difficult to grind the welded surface in those areas it's always good to use a pickling agent and leave it for 30-45 minutes and it's done. You have a surface free from black oxide.

In thin tubing often material gets sagged during excessive heat and you avoid that its good to have a sheet in the middle of the joint which is going to avoid the sagging and usually it will not matter if you are going to keep it as it is. But if you are going to polish it the sagged joint reflects the light differently.

Filling the gaps looks difficult but it's very easy to do. The key to success is to minimize the air gap and weld it normally. At first it is not going to look pretty and that's normal but if you follow the three rules then it's a sure success Weld, cool, Clean.

My ibell 220 arc welder has positive and negative label outside inverter from what it is labeled Inside, pcb labeled positive side as negative, and negative side as positive, now I'm confused that is my welder DCEP OR DCEN any idea how can i confirm polarity?

You can find both these products on India Mart. And the positive and negative terminal can be found with clamp meter or with Multimeter. Red one is positive and black is negative, keep it on dc voltage measurements and check with it.

Only cylinder cost of 7 cubic meter will cost 7000-8000 INR. And cost of argon gas will be 1400-1500/-. You can purchase all these from industrial gas supplyer. Seach on google for nearby dealer. You also need to buy gas regulator with flow controller for your cylinder.

No dear it will melt the tungsten because of oxygen. Only Argon cylinder needs to be attached because it's inert.

Yeah buddy that's really necessary but I would prefer solenoid gas valve to do the job just like the on comes in tig torch that will shut down automatically once I release the button.
