I love this video. First, the sentences use common words but are unique so I'm learning new words as well. Second, the sentences are long enough to get context and to figure out which prepositions go with which verbs (a vs. de vs. en) and to also figure out where words go in the sentences. Third, the sentences are faster so your ear is being trained but you have the words on screen so you know how to pronounce and what's being said.

Those are basic words: milk, tea water...etc, verbs to be, to have - it works the same like with their English equivalents - if somebody in UK says 'A cup of tea please' - those words will be understood and spoken in US as well. There are some differences even in basic words but majority are just the same in those 2 countries.

Llevo media hora viendo el video y no encuentro ninguna diferencia entre el español de México y el de España, salvo el acento. Sólo hay dos frases distintas: "son diez para la una" en español de España se dice: " son la una menos diez", y "al diez para las cuatro" que en España se dice " son las cuatro menos diez". Creo que en Mexico también te entenderían si lo dices de ese modo.

The female voice is more comprehensive. I don't much like the male voice; it is sloppy sounding. Learning would not go so well with him. If you want to impart knowledge, it needs to be spoken a little slower, hence more clearly spoken. I do appreciate the opportunity to learn (and write) these useful sentences.
