Hi Julian I’m an annual member. I’ve gone through the most of your lessons and they’re all very helpful. I especially like the course on block chords. Very easy to understand! And I love the videos where I can follow along as you go, as if you’re in the room guiding me! I think this video here is helpful because it quickly summarizes what you taught in your improvisation course. Thanks! Maybe you can do more videos like this? Something your students can use to review or practice with you as they watch the video? I’m sure many would agree with me here! Here is also a question about practicing change of chords in a song. I have grasped the theory of voicing and can play major & minor 2-5-1’s in all 12 keys note perfect, and I can build a chord off a lead sheet very slowly using different voicing choices such as shell, drop 2, or upper structure and etc. It takes a while because I have to think the scale that is in the key to build the chord with various scale degrees. It seems impossible to do within seconds. Is that correct way of thinking? And, what sort of exercises do you recommend to reach at-least-listenable fluently so that I don’t pause at every chord change when playing a standard? I think my challenge lies in how quickly you can think of the upcoming chord in your head and know what note becomes a 3, 7, or 9 etc.. in that chord. How did you train your brain to do such things instantly? I hope I am not mumbling too much! I hope you understand my question. Thanks for being such a great teacher! Good luck with being a good daddy as well!

Hi Julian, on your webpage there is a long refund guarantee for years member trials : 90 days! And if there is somebody not satisfied you will refund! Now let us know - obviously there are more members not that satisfied - how we should contact you or your assistent to declare our guarantee request to you and ask for the payback? Please, no excuses, time related! Especially if you have an assistent as mentioned here. Are you doing a fake business procedure and trick the members in a constant subscription? your tutorials are quite good but if you are not available for your members, even with the slightest question then the whole business is worthless and you are cheating with a fake guarantee! Just think..... and please act!

I've been playing for 30 yrs and only decided to learn this in depth now. Imo, this is not something necessarily for beginners, but if you cannot read music yet, you will either need to dedicate some years or try a different approach. Music is like math where one method is not for everyone. I've had college professors attempt to teach me this 15 years ago and I did not get it. This method works for me but may not work for everyone. So it may not be a waste of time but rather you will need to find something that makes your time feel like it has fulfilled your goals.
