For me, the degree of ease of rolling movement was a direct result of the relaxation session in the first part of the video. If the quiet time was shortened, then I think that my movements would have been impeded. This is now one of my favorites. Thank you for your patience with making videos.

Alfons, I want you to know that you are amazing. I have been doing your tutorials, one each day, and the benefits are incredible. I also purchased your books just in case I don't have access to your KZread tutorials. Please continue sharing your knowledge with us. Thank you so much!!!

This was like an amazing self massage for me. I suffer from agitated depression, but it all goes away during so many of your lessons! How blessed I am to have found you. I want to buy your book. Wondering how many more gems are inside of it. I think Feldenkrais could heal the world.

actually Likes and Comments are very important for videos. The more Likes and Comments, the better KZread will rate the video and show it to more people. Thanks for actively participating Olga ! :-) Sorry, I can't assess you through KZread. Some shoulders sometimes need very delicate care. Do less. Careful. Be slow. I wish you the best!

Alfons, Thank you for suggesting these rolling lessons!! I cannot believe how sore I am after just 2 days. I know this must be good for me. I believe a couple of falls I have had contributed to my inability to lay on my right side. (hip, thigh, groin, knee, and ankle pain)The Hanna Somatic Practitioner I had been seeing suggested I had a twisted sacrum! I have just ordered your book and I'm very excited to continue working on this. Thank you Thank you for sharing these videos!! I love that it is not striving for perfect form!!! Exploring !!!!

This is how my 5 years old daughter is turning in her sleep. And she did not watch your lessons 😀. It's just so natural for children.

Dear Alfons, you have nicely padded hips. What about us bony people? Even with a blanket over a carpet I am distracted by the discomfort caused by rolling over the trochanter bone. Any suggestions?

I often like to think about the people I've seen in Cambodia: very thin, very supple. I've seen people sleep comfortably on the asphalt outsides, I've seen beds made from wood. Talking wooden planks instead of mattress. They have soft bodies which do well on hard surfaces. In our western world our bodies became hard and we seek soft surfaces, quite the opposite. Does this picture make sense?

I think you must be saying in the west, we are spoiled by our comforts. But what do you think, if I keep rolling I will soften up? Or is it better to add more cushioning? Or maybe I should move to the wood floor? BTW I went on Dr. McDougall's starch diet about 3 months ago. I think Feldenkrais and the diet should be a good combination.

I think in the west we have the luxury to chose, and ideally we are able to roll on a mattress and on the wooden floor. But how to get there? BTW: AWESOME !! :-) I think Feldenkrais + Starch based diet do go together excellent, I love it.

I am glad I found this. I have tight IT band, and performs issues on right side. I have not been able to roll without a great deal of discomfort for a long time. Your videos are so helpful. A God wink for sure.
