I'm in COLLEGE and Brian teaches better than my teacher

I graduated high school back in 2016 and used your videos to study for math class and reviews basic concepts I may have forgotten. I am now a Junior at the university and still use your videos to refresh my mind in basic concepts that I may have forgotten. Thank you for your help and your great videos.

Don't worry I understand now. But what I was trying to do was solve for X. For example, X^2 +4X+4 factored is (X + 2)(X + 2). And so that means X=-2. So that means that 12X^2 + 15X = 3X(4x + 5). And X=-3 or X=-5/4

ahhh I got you, be careful when you apply the zero product property after factoring you have 3x=0 and 4x+5=0 so x=-5/4 and x=0 not -3

the answer is correct, not sure on your expression but if you multiply it back you will not get the original problem

So 6x•x=12x^2

6x*x=12x^2? um are you sure?

6x(x) is equal to 6x² but not 12x²
