I am so glad you made reference to the taking care of our selves, I use to work out side of the home until the pandemic but always did furniture in my spare time. So when I decided to start a at home business I wanted to of course start my own furniture make over and design furniture business , so I did. Well, exactly what you said happens , I stopped talking care of my self as much because all I wanted to do was work and didn't want to brake way. I totally enjoyed it! Right before you said should I add peony to the bottom? I said out loud you need to add peony to the bottom!, do it! do it! Yea girl! my daughter was looking at me like I was crazy! You blend like no one I’ve seen and it’s inspiring me to do a grey and white blend on this huge knotty pine armoire I have that’s sticking out like a sore thumb!

It's an ombre lol Wish we could paint together! That'd be friggin awesome!

Oh dayum girl!! All I kept saying was “do it” this piece came out so sweet! Did I miss anything with the paper or was that just the color inspo? You are the master at blending! No frikking brush strokes! Spot on! 😍😍😍. Thank you again for doing a video on my request🥰

How do you not have more subscribers??? I keep a sketch book by my bed so when inspiration hits I write it down. Do you keep a recipe book for your colour mixes? I love how this piece turned out, it needed a touch of you in it. Plus the textured lace turned out perfectly. Have you thought about submitting a video to Dionne Woods from the Turquoise Iris? She’s starting a digital magazine highlighting furniture painters and other forms of art. Each issue has a key word. The first was courage but that issue is completed. To be released this month. But she’s linking her articles to the painter/designer so it should be great publicity. It’s called The Turquoise Iris Journal. I’m sure there is info on her website. You’d be a great addition, you are a really good teacher and your work is fun and unique. Enjoy your weekend👋👋

They get mean as adults. 😁 But you can sleep then. 👏 I was a foster parent for 14 years, we always had at least 6 children in the house at all times. Worth it but exhausting.

You would of heard me saying: YES do it!!! Add more color! It wouldn't be a Crys'Dawna special if you didn't have more color. LOL. Btw, I really liked the knobs you put on this piece. Sometimes less is more. Loved the heart ones, but honestly imho I think it would of taken away from lace design you featured. Most likely that's the conclusion you came too, but thought i'd throw my preference out there for ya :-) And yes SELF CARE is so important, especially in these crazy a** times.
