Interesting to see the progression of the leap of faith throughout the series. As they go on you see they start to take more and more time to get to the laying back position, and I think this is a little dangerous as it increases the chance they land on their head first. You'll also see that the way they rotate while going into the laid back position gets more and more lifeless as they go on, taking the perfect amount of time with evenly spaced rotations every time. This is unlike Altair and Ezio's, which in my opinion look the best and more natural. This is all just my opinion though, so please don't flame me.

@@ParlonsAstronomie With all due respect, I disagree. In the Assassin's Creed Movie, they did a real leap of faith and the stuntman did exactly that. He positionned himself on the back mere instants before impact. I suspect they had data on the jump (it was a world record) and recreated it. As unrealistic as they are, I prefer the first ones... I am surely biased.

One time I did the leap from the platform of Odin’s Throne in Asgard and while I was running I manage to click the action of putting the hood on. The result was that after the leap Odin put the hood on while he was falling and it was really cool

You forgot Desmond's Leap of Faith from Brotherhood (though that only happens once as part of the story and isn't repeatable). Otherwise, great video!

That’s easily a Top 3 LoF because it’s one three games coming and shows how far Desmond has come because he says it felt completely natural. That and the following section in the tunnels under the Villa show much more active he’s being in 2012 as himself.

The leap of faith never gets old.

Ezio's theme in the background proves why he is the most iconic of the series.

Unity and syndicate ones are the best. I love how slow they are as well as the eagle sound 🦅

I really liked how in the older AC games the camera panned out for a good view during the leap of faith. Really sucks how the camera just zooms right up on the character now

I'd argue for AC3 and Unity, Syndicate seams a bit slow mo. Others are either too zoomed out (AC1-REV) or too zoomed in (BF-ROGUE) and in Liberation it seams to be different each second.

As a kid, I used to imagine going up to the highest point of any building or hill, and jumping up from there like “leap of faith” from Assassin’s Creed franchise, until I see… That there was no pile of hay anywhere. Plus risk of a probable bone injury or worse, death.

Still (for me) the most beautiful leap of faith is from unity and syndicate

altair is the most scary one because you never know when the bug gonna kill you

You don't simply take off Jacob's hat, even gravity can't do that

I was kind of hoping that by "every playable character", you would also include the chronicles games and Identity somehow lol Also less like 22 and more like 16, if my counting is right. Ezio x3, Connor x2, Layla x2, and Eivor x2, so 22 jumps - 6 repeat characters.

I miss the old times with the first games of Assassins Creed,the history,the protagonist,the músic... I miss the Assassins Creed games before the change of origins. Was my chilwood,and i remember that fantastic. Maybe ubisoft right now no the better company of videogames but onces was incredible with the first Assassins Creed games. Doesnt matter how many years pass, always i Will remember that. I learn more history in this videogames than in class of history.

It’s not really slow, just the scope and distance is a lot bigger.

Valhalla didn't have any eagle sound? Well they could add the sound of a raven, it would be no big deal.
