I just wanted to say this was the perfect exact video I needed. I took everything apart and I also noticed I didn’t need a wrench to unscrew! So I tightened it and problem solved. Did it by myself which is a miracle. Thank you so much!

Just used your video to fix my Moen single handle faucet. It was dripping in exactly the same place (11-year-old faucet). Couldn't have done it without watching your video first. The set screw on my handle was locked in solid. I stripped one allen wrench and bent another getting that set screw loose. Also used WD-40 up into the hole. Finally gave way grudgingly after 10 minutes (and some prayer) of working it. the lock nut on the cartridge was also rock solid and took a good twist with a faucet wrench to get it loose, so I'm not sure if it was the lock nut that was my problem. When I pulled the cartridge, there was a foreign object about the size of a large seed sitting in one of the three holes. I pulled that out, washed everything up and re-installed. No leak! At first, I tightened the cartridge lock nut really tight and found the handle did not move as smoothly as it did before. So I backed that off just a bit (more than hand-tighten, but not fully wrench-tightened) and that allowed the handle to move smoothly as it did before. Again, thanks for a great video!

Great video. Mine is not leaking but it's the same style. The housing (that dome thing right behind the lever) is loose. Any way to tighten it? It seems to turn when the lever turns so dn't know how tight it's supposed to be and still rotate. I don't know if the set screw in the handle needs to be tightened or what. Doesn't seem to be anything that keeps it on???

If the faucet is moving, then it is likely the lock down nut under the counter top is loose. You may want to check that. Best luck with your project! 👍

did you ever fix faucet kitchen motion control Moen brand ? that faucet was disconnected accidentally and i blue cable need to be reconnected.
