Hi my Friends, this is my knife making episode. I decided to make a hunting knife out of the 6 mm thick flat sprig steel I've got from an old trailer. After enjoying the video I have 2 notes to say : - the heat treatment happens when the steel is about 900c° , in your case you just bleuing the knife white oil quench - and secondly I think is easier to make 2 pins and glue after that you make the 3s hole in the middle, thanks

You are right, I have best feeling about this shape. It fits my bigger hand perfectly and the weight and balance is realy good.

This is really a very good design. Handle big enough easily for a full grip for leverage. That is gonna be an awesome knife.

I love your overall design of the knife, particularly that the blade is way lower than your knuckle level which to me is a must for any knife regardless of the purpose of the knife. My view is that all knives should have that design feature. I also liked your skill in making the bevel, the fact that it starts almost from the first third of the blade width and it goes down concavely to the last micro bevel. I also liked your choice of wood for the tang. It is beautiful yet simple and practical. All in all . . I enjoyed watching your craftsmanship in action👍
