I am pretty sure Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben was the Prussian guy at Valley Forge who trained the continentals. Marquis de Layfayette was a French noble (who also helped out).

Correct on both counts. Von Steuben was the Prussian hardass who turned the Continental army into a British nightmare, and Lafayette was the French noble who the French court sent over to help kick British ass. Short version: Von Steuben = drilling. Lafayette = morale boost in Valley Forge (because that camp was _absolute shite_ in the winter).

The crow doesn't refer to any nationality but is reference to that bird and screaming crow meme so there's no connection to nationality. Honestly if German shepherds represent Germans, Shiba inus should represent Japanese, aka it's just meme things
