Congratulations... I too was a runaway a drug addict at a very young age... God kept me alive and though I went through some unspeakable things I am alive, sober, and have 2 handsome boys and a wonderful supportive family... it's also given me a perspective and empathy that most middle class people don't have.. I am so thankful to God for saving me even when I hated him...

I feel you, dear brother... If we turn to Jesus, and receive him by faith, we are accepted in the beloved (Eph. 1,6). It's so difficult for me to grasp it, having been rejected by my father all my life. People make us feel worthless... But we are of great worth to God. He even goes the extra mile, "through Samaria" and even unto the cross, to have us reconciled to him. He wants us for eternity in his presence.

I cry when I see this scene, it clearly shows how Jesus goes out of his way to rescue us.

The way Jesus treats women in the Bible and in this series is so tender, so loving, and so much the way we men should. Jesus honored the lowly and broken woman with something He had not reveled to anyone yet. He knew this woman was not going to shut up about what she knew was the truth. He used her to open up Samaria. Amazing!!!

Did you know that that actor is a Buddhist he couldn't stop crying while filming Dallas the director told him to leave the tears in the scene. When filming was done, the actor that plays Nicodemus said. " DO you think someone's trying to tell me something"? Dallas said yes! True story.

Here in Italy where I live I needed 5 minutes of peace just to sit down and talk to Jesus... I went to the Church in our town... I found the door closed... We can find Jesus anywhere... even on a garden seat near a railway crossing... Talk to him wherever you are!!

When he said “God is a spirit” 😮shook me because it’s no longer about temples and buildings but the new temple is our body we can worship him in spirit

His portrayal of Jesus exudes love, not severity or dourness. Serious when needed, truly funny at other times, fully human while never ONLY human.

My brother didn’t want anything or cared for anything concerning Jesus. Usually I’d drag him to watch a Jesus movie or something but I was playing this video by myself and my brother randomly walked up on his own to watch the whole Samaritan movie scene. He watched the whole thing! What a miracle in my eyes anyway!

The only problem is that the authors of The Chosen are like 5% accurate and 95% of the rest is just an imagination of the Authors who dare to call it biblical. Story in this scene never happend as portraited. Biblical record of the Samaritan woman in the Gospel of John and in The Chosen are 2 different worlds. Devil twisted truth from the beginning

I also love the scene where Jesus was at the Well and showed so much compassion and humility. Brought tears to my eyes. The actress that played the Samaritan woman was incredible. There is a part of me that feels like her. Where you feel out of place and looked down upon. There's periods where i felt like that and I can relate to her and the need for accetance. The Matthew scene is my FAVORITE! The music, the acting of Matthew, Peter, Jesus, and Mary. It's all so good. And the humor at the end with the tablet and the fact that he is hosting dinner. Perfection.

I am 10 and I started watching the chosen 2 years ago. This summer I dedicated my heart to jesus, I got baptized. I love this show, for my valentines box I did chosen theme. The seeaon 3 finale was great and so touching, I loved it.💓

Jesus meeting Nichodemus Has me crying everytime such a beautiful and humbling scene

This scene is so emotional and yet there is some humor in both scenes. These 4 actors are amazing. I see myself in Nicodemus. He is in awe of Jesus yet he feels torn about what he was taught and what he was saw Jesus do. He is in a very difficult position and is fighting his own "demons". Despite his fears and doubts Jesus showed love and kindness to this man. Nicodemus was really torn but I feel he loved Jesus in his own way. I like the fact that 2 others were listening in and couldn't believe what they were hearing. Something they really needed to think about in their own lives ! 🥰

Notice that one of them listening / eavesdropping is JOHN and he is WRITING EVERYTHING DOWN… That’s to reference the fact that Jesus meeting Nicodemus is in the book of JOHN 😮

I love this series so much. They help me to feel like Christ and his apostles are real and that Jesus Christ can truly understand my sorrows and grief for my sins and my desire to repent and turn to him again. There is a lot of healing through Christ.

Most epic bomb line, “God loves the world in this way, that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” then Nicodemus be like... “So this has nothing to do with Rome?” Lol. 😅

I love this , it brings the BIBLE More alive JESUS IS REAL, I Know that GOD is real This brings it home. Thank you To all GOD bless each and every one .

So excited season three is finally out !!!

I watch this, just days after seeing season 3, episodes 1 & 2 in a theater, and am amazed at how Matthew has grown and advanced through the episodes.

I don't even go to church nor know much of anything about Jesus/Christianity. But the footage was well done and I still cried. Well done.

Please accept Him. He’s more real then the tablet I’m writing on. I’ve been outside my physical body and I’m not only a believer but a knower. I don’t want my worst enemy to spend a minute without Him. I now live in His peace I have no anxieties worries or fears.

Good for you, Ricky. You aren't alone either. I haven't had one personally, but I've heard a lot about spiritual stuff too happening to those who die and are revived. I think God is correcting our Faith.

This is a wonderful series. Just what this world needs right now!!

Justin he’s coming back in our lifetime. five days ago they had a ceremony to start building the third temple in Jerusalem, when it is built we will be in the last minutes

@@colleen4ever yes in the book of revelation it speaks of the antichrist after 3 1/2 years he sits in the on the throne in the temple . So a lot of Christians believe the temple has to be built before hand. If you’re interested, look up abomination of desolation.

Nahhh u don’t understand how this felt in my soul .it’s so beautiful because God came just for her he knew her and was watching her even when he was far away and she didn’t know him he knew her and he turned alll the way to Samaria to meet her you can see how much he truly loves her and couldn’t help but smile at her excitement .❤

These first two scenes and the scene where Jesus reveals himself to Mary Magdalene and heals her are my favourite scenes from The Chosen. They always leave me in tears. I feel God's spirit come over me every time. This is a powerful and moving production that allows people to connect with Jesus in a way I have not seen in other productions. I can see God's anointing over this show and I pray it will continue to reach a world in need of light and hope and the word of God.

For me the Women in the dwell is the best passage of Christ, they put it so well in this scene, thanks.

It's my birthday and this video is the best gift I have received today, praise be to Jesus, my saviour, the Messiah, who accepts me however I am when everyone is rejecting me, this video reminds me newly how much He loves me and is always wanting to make me His child! Like the Samaritan woman, I will ever be proud to declare His holy name Jesus, my Saviour...people may think I'm unworthy to praise Him but why should I be ashamed when He himself does not reject me but rather is always willing to accept me, so I will never be ashamed to praise His holy name, Thank You Jesus for another new year of my life...

He came to Earth not to conquer and rule the country he has come to Earth to rule and Conquer our Hearts. Amen…

The picturization is really awesome, every word penetrates my heart, tears roll down . Wow such a wonderful God we have Jesus, all glory and praise be to him.

This entire series is so full of "Best scenes"... I mean, the subject of the series certainly lends itself to that. I agree with your choices and I would've made a 20 minute video to add one more - when Jesus heals Mary in E1. That just set such a tone for the entire season.

@@jacobnyhart6862 Hi brother, thanks for your reply. Every time I watch Mary scene again and again I get emotional. I am convinced that the holy Spirit is doing His job very well on the Chosen. Concerning filming the Word of God I find it difficult to watch because many movies were made distracting people from the real meaning of the Word. But The Chosen went straight into my heart from the start. We spread the gospel brother, that is why God called us in the name of His beloved Son. When I think of the prophets and the apostles I am grateful they did what God told them to do. They suffered for us to bring all lost sheep to the right shepherd. Peace be with us brother and God bless you.

Yes I agree, when Jesus calls Mary by her name is heart wrenching. And the embrace, I could almost feel it.

The Chosen is life changing.

I've been betrayed, persecuted, abandoned and rejected by many cause I am a child of God. I will keep my faith in God. No one will make me change my mind about that

Thank you, Dallas and team for what I am sure will be another life changing season of The Chosen. God is so good!
