Andris brought a chick. Grincs grabbed it immediately and was mantling it. Then he tried to eat the chick. After a few minutes, Anna came home. Grincs immediately tried to swallow the chick. It did not work. So Mom was allowed to feed her chick :-)

im pretty sure that's mommy (Anna) being all vocal just outta view of he nest. Ever since the delivery,... we can hear a constant clickitty sqwuak like when the male would deliver w/her there. zExact same call....& even if we can't see her,..ide bet dollars to donuts she's never far from her chick

Now i realize the first one came with a prey was the father and the later was the mother. Only mother feed her chick.
He just snatched it from his father...thats a big kid...must be a teenager.
