Looks great, except where's the video, after it's dry. Ya know, when it dies back and pinches up. That clear is the worst Spies has. 8046 and 8035 or don't bother.

yeah 8180 sucks your absolutely correct about the pinching. doesn't matter if you 2 coat or just coat and a half or what reducer you use it just doesn't look good when it dries.

Good to know. I thought I was doing something wrong. I was getting frustrated and trying new things out. Giving the clear flash time, spraying less material, two coats, coat and a half. I don't really like it at all. So you think the 8035 is better to go with? What about that 8046? Don't think I've ever used it

Chopan8809 same here Im a new painter and thought it was me until I noticed the other painter (who is a vet) has the same pinching effect on his jobs with 8180. The only time I’ve been satisfied with 8180 is on a roof where I’m able to smash it on. 8035 lays out much nicer but it will run easier as well and it doesn’t dry as fast. I try to use 8180 on stuff that is going back to trim out within the same day or if it’s very cold outside but other than that I prefer 8035. I’m new to spies and have not tried 8046 yet.

My new shop uses 8180,and I'm not impressed ,it pinches back wene it dries,and trying to wetland and buff is like trying to polish concreat,concrete, get the 1500 scratches out very easy,thought I was doing something wrong until I heard these coments
