This song is my first select from Dr Don Williams....all the best in your life,I started playing his music the time I was in grade 7....I really thankful my Dad to trained me in a precious way and taught me how to live and love God.

I think I have a favourite song, then i hear another one and so on ... Just love them all 😊 However , I think this probably is my most favourite because my late long-term partner and I played it and just let Don's beautiful voice wash over us a few days before he was taken into hospital and within les than a week , he died before I could get in to see him 😢 but although it brings tears everytime I listen to it , it's also so special . I am really looking forward to being with my love again forever in God's new Kingdom 🤍

He was called “the song doctor” for a reason. If a writer was having trouble finding the right tempo, key, etc., all they had to do was give it the him. He had that special touch that turned a good song into a great son.
Seen him live,was even better than listening to cd or records.such a laid back wonderful show.r.i.p don,thank you for the music that lives on

I just happened on this song on Valentine's Day, barely a year since the precious love of my life passed away from leukemia caused by Agent Orange during the Vietnam War. I miss him every minute of every day, and this song brought instant tears. I've always liked Don Williams' beautiful, tender voice, and combined with these lyrics, it's bringing back very happy memories of my Bill. Someday we'll be together again, and I just pray that it will be sooner rather than later.

This song really gets to me now. The only girl to tell me she loved me died recently and this reminds me of us attending a Don Williams concert in Dublin, Ireland in the early 90’s. Happy days that I’ll treasure forever! Rest In Peace Emma!💔

My favorite male country artist of all time!!! I grew up in the 70s and 80s loving him and always wanted to meet him. Just a pure voice, so smooth, clear, and country. I wanted to see him perform live right here in Bham before he passed away but I didn't and knew I would regret it...I do!!! Omg he was just an amazing singer and is so missed.
